Trafford Centre has redeemed itself!
Trafford Centre has loads of purple Olay gwps upstairs near the down escalator but they have cut off all the labels with the bar code on them. I'd noticed this before so had the ones from my previous gwps in my brag book and simply put one, bar code upwards, on top of the box and SA scanned it without blinking.
Also got three free samples from Clarins counter, but no L'Oreal men's anti-fatigue bag or reduced HE or any of the other gwps other people keep finding.
I'm beginning to think that going late in the evening when they are not busy works quite well. I've also decided (sorry, slow learner me) that I am only going to pay with money when the rewards are v great (eg to get gwp as above) or when I get lots of points back as with TS minis etc and get a voucher, or where there are v good mocs, like the sadly long gone £1.50 Mitchum ones. I've now got loads of points which I keep not spending because of all these offers so I am going to resist temptation and use points whenever I need a topup or a meal deal. What else can I spend them on??!! I don't need a camera, I've now got loads of goodies and there are no babies to buy nappies for...
Wish I was witty and funny like SS but hope some of this helps someone.
There are still £1.00 Mitchum vouchers about. If you pm me your e-mail I wll forward a sheet. Also loved your Olay GWP barcode trick. Brilliant!!0 -
Just been to my local and saw some of the LISTERINE MOUTHWASH range reduced. They are on 3 4 2 at the moment too. So got 3 x bottles for £2.10 and added that to the other stuff I got my total went over just £5.00. I got 20 points for it and 1 x skincare/haircare and 1 x No7. Good or what?
Hi Mimi, hope your Dad is ok. I got some listerine yesterday aswell:D I think they were 98p each and 3 4 2 I noticed lots of toothy reductions:rotfl: Toothbrushes, mouthwashes and toothpaste at 1/2 price or less and all on 3 4 2
I went to the dunstable store and they had lots of Girard sets, some No7 suncare items reduced and NC shower gel at 49p so I got 3 and used my last 100points voucher:) I I've bought the shower gel from 3 different stores now and paid a different price in each storeI wish Mr B was more consistant with his pricing:rolleyes:

kitiaracat wrote: »Well done suepernan how do you keep getting things to work when i can't? When you used ur acm voucher in a tiny shop did it have a acm? As our tiny local won't let me use my voucher as they don't have a machine.
No reduced NC in BOT well there was empty spaces so must have had some but gone now.
kitiaracat, the nearest Boots to me with an ACM is over 40 miles away when i started getting into Bootsing my local were a bit unsure about taking the ACM vouchers but i just stood my ground ,said friends had said that they had checked with cs and that they were useable in any Boots.SA in my local now have got use to me using them.0 -

Hiya
Not a regular Bootser (not good enough at the maths!!) but just passing through and thought I would comment - as a 21 year old, I would also like the reassurance of a smear done earlier. However, having worked for quite some time in a family planning clinic, I know that the reason they have upped the age is to do with inaccurate results. A woman's cervix is still changing rapidly as a late teen/young adult, which means nearly every smear done on someone of that age would show abnormal cells. Obviously, this renders the process meaningless, as well as giving unnecessary worry to the patient re: abnormal cells, and a significant amount of nhs time and money.
Please don't take that the wrong way, I just wanted to give the other side of the story. As always, if women younger than the routine age feel <b>any</b> cause for concern they can still request that it's investigated.

Mine loves the clean on me shower gel! I tell him he smells like a girl but he doesn't care! I'm starting to get worried :rotfl:
I've just discovered my hubby uses this too (although he won't admit it:D ) he is a real fan of the jam sessions that boots no longer stock, which is a pity, as I love this too.0 -

I think it is the stuff in the peach and silver boxes. I think one of the products is the Hand Saviour.
