(OT: why does half term go by so quickly but term time is so sloooooooooooooow?????)

Doesn't it? Tried all week to teach DDs the Secret Life of Bootsing - one's hooked, the other's turned off for life. DD2 at the top of her voice asked "what's menopause?" I tried to explain discretely and quietly until eventually she started singing: "it never rains in Southern California....it pours, men o pause..." (sic!!). Maybe when she's older I'll correct her!

On topic - big HSK has lots of the No7 pink jewellry boxes for 3.00, you can use the perkie for them.

Kew - has alot of Elle range reduced, also still has No7 nailpolishes and a couple of No7 creams - but still not as reduced as other stores.

Heya! its great to hear from another Aberdeen Bootser :T
Have you noticed any of the anti fatigue sets that are on 342 scanning at 3.** in any of the Aberdeen stores?

Also have you used any S and G vouchers recently on minis? They end tomorrow but i havent tried in a while and was wondering if they still put it through as a Boots coupon if they dont scan?

I used the SS tills the other day, love them! Have you or any other Aberdeen bootsers used the hairys on model me and got the points added manually too?

Does anyone happen to have any 'hairys' that they dont want?Would really appreciate a PM if so. I can check my ACM offers tomorrow to see what it gives me and i wud be happy to swap vouchers.

    TIA

No Bon Accord havent any of the Anti Fatigue sets havent seen any in Bridge of Dee either.

Im not a fan of S&G so didnt print or use any of those coupons. Ive used the vouchers on rediced Model Me but not tried the points vouchers at the same time.

Im off to the Bridge of Dee Boots tomorrow as the Pixifoto photographer is in and im getting the boys done so will get a quick lookie round when im there!

Sorry forgot to mention earlier the Hamilton town centre branch had a stand full of GWP Bags for l'oreal, olay of ulay & no.17 !!!
I could have fainted never seen so many gwp bags all sittting together.
I havent seen these before - they were kind of posh looking.
They all looked like clutch bags .The l'oreal one was a pink suede type matieral ,there was a grey one for olay and another one for olay. The no.17 was also grey with a pink trim.
They had tags on them saying free when you spend over £25- however we all know that isnt always the case ....:D
I never treid to get any myself as was feeling tired and wanted to go home.
However I know the hamilton branch have a habit of putting out old gwp to try and push sales up.
They are all on a stand next to the perfume counter and the no.7 counter.

Well done suepernan how do you keep getting things to work when i can't? When you used ur acm voucher in a tiny shop did it have a acm? As our tiny local won't let me use my voucher as they don't have a machine.

No reduced NC in BOT well there was empty spaces so must have had some but gone now.

Tiny tiny shop had no ACM and a couple of the ACM vouchers had Mrs A printed on them as well - cos she had so kindly let me have a few she didn't need.

Forgot to say that this tiny tiny shop had run out of GWPs - but even if they'd had any I don't think I would have dared try to get them included in the deal!
  • Have you ever been to the Llanishen retail park store? Last week they had RoC sets reduced and the Olay cream wash for £5.86 or whatever it costs. They had Toni & Guy reductions too.

No unfortunately I just go to the city centre ones (queen street, capitol and station ones), most of the time during my lunch break. But thanks for the information about Llanishen, seems more interesting than the queen street one :D.

All the Caerdydd bootsers, the ROC is still reduced and they have T&G and MM reduced too, although very small selection left. The Bay had a similar range too in the reduced section at the end of the store.

Good to see another cardiff bootser :D . Starb which store you are talking about pls? If it's the queen street one, where is it located? I could only see a few no7 sun stuff reduced on clearance stand on the ground floor. TIA.
I've gotta say, I got some of this with a previous Expert offer and it's the best [strike]nipple[/strike] hand cream ever ! Leaves your hands smoother than any other I've got (and I get awful chapped hands in the winter). I've never used it anywhere else though, so couldn't vouch for it's use elsewhere :o.

:hello: Hi all, seems aaaages since I posted on here but here goes :D

Planned a mega Boots shop as I had a £5 off wys £25 and a baby dept £5 off wys £15. Spent almost £30 before vouchers scanned £5 off first and then baby dept one beeped. SA point blank refused so do manually even though I should have been able to use both - technically. Anyhoo paid £7.xx and will get a Money Back Guarantee of almost £5 on the hair dye I bought and got about 200 points so free really in Boots logic.

Got a meal deal and the store has a 50p off coupon for these so £2.49, not had one of these for ages, but a bit too near the end of the month for me to accumulate 4 or 5 more.

Got some 97p vits and HC 150 points scanned on this so a bit of profit if you need to Boost your points ;)

Went to another store where lots of No7 suncream reduced to £1.50-£2 so I got a fair few bottles for free.

Still can't find any reduced shampoo for hairies, tried the PC £4 off Olay TE on the TE wash for 86p (after wrinklie but till said 'noooo' :p )

No P&P %35 off ACM for me

Start worrying when your OH starts holding your hand JT :rotfl: Or both of them! ;)

No massive bargains today, apart from a Pack of Thermacare Heatwraps for £1.22 (I'm sure there's an offer on for free samples, but thought I'd give them a whirl on my injured elbow.)

Nearly had to go back and get some more after a bloody big car reversed into me! I turned to give the driver some verbal, and .....

..... it was my OH ...!

    Gotta laugh, I think

I think you just have to fold them up a lot if you use those mini brag books. I use a 6x4 photo album for my vouchers -- big coupons go one to page, little ones go 2 or 3 to a page.

I'm thinking I will need the bigger one myself, cheers will try that.
