Is it possible on No 7 P&P, to spend £18+ and then receive GWP but use the £5 off P&P plus the new £5 off No7 voucher too, bringing net cost down to around £8?
Yes
On Wednesday I bought a brush and T&G shampoo to get a £5 perkie.
I then went to the No7 counter and bought Body Serum @£18.50. Handed over £5 perkie, £5 P+P ACM voucher. I collected a gwp and only paid £8.500 -
Hi, Made a bit of a boo-boo today. Went to Boots today to get some P&P hand cream & was very excited to see I was being offered the £5 P&P voucher at the ACM which meant I would be able to get them free with a purkies I had. So I pressed print button x3....bent down to collet vouchers from the slot.....none there!!! The machine had run out of paper!! Aaaaargh. Went to another 2 machines but none offered me the same voucher. Does anyone know if it will reappear in the future or will it have registered that I printed them off & not offer it to me again??
Thanks
I think it will offer them to you again. I seem to get the offer every time I use the amc.0 -

Unfortunately no L'oreal mens goodies and anything else of interest, but pretty pleased with what I managed to get. Does anyone have any ideas on good things I can spend my ppoints on for men?
I know 9 flannel cakes may seem excessive, but have loads of girlie friends who will appreciate as part of a hamper, so I haven't been too greedy, I did leave about the same amount on the shelf

Great shop today with friend. We got 9 S&G minis + 2 gift bags for £1.20 and assistant gave us perkies & wrinklies
.
Then went to SS tills and bought hydro quench pore stuff £5.65 - £5 perkie, 65p to pay and No 7 firming body lotion £6.83 - £5 perkie £1.83 to pay. Combined both with other shopping including soap and glory pore stuff (used £2 off voucher) and got 2 more wrinklies & perkies.
Then realised hadn't used 250 skincare no 7 voucher, so did hydro quench again. 65p to pay plus got 250 points yeah:j
Then really tried to push our luck and do S&g minis again, but rottweiller on till wouldn't allow. Never mind.
Hope everyone else has enjoyed a good shopping day today.:beer:0 -
Not a greta day today, first time I've been bootsing for a while, and I've definitely gotten out of the habit!
Boots branches in North Tyneside are pretty rubbish in general. Today I went to forest hall and North Shields, both quite small branches, no good clearance stuff in either, no ACMs in either, and huge queues in both, so left without buying anything. Then went to Silverlink and bought the following:
JF hairspray £2.44
Cosmopolitan mag £3.30
S&G Dr Spot blemish gel £4.84
Used: hairy, & S&G skincare voucher, plus double points from the last mailing.
Total to pay: £8.58. Earned another hairy/wrinklie plus purplie (honestly, I get rid only to get another!) plus 32 ordinary points and 32 double points, so in boots logic the shop cost £7.94. Not bad, considering I'd have bought the mag anyway.
Shop 2:
P&P hand cream £10.00 (although depending where you picked it up from in the store, SEL said £10.03 in some places!?!)
No7 ltd edn lip tint £8.00
JF hairspray £2.44
Paracetamol & codeine £1.99
No7 GWP £0.00
Veet wax strips £10.37
Used: purplie, hairy, P&P ACM voucher. Tried to use double points coupon but forgot you can only use it once a day. Damn! Earned: purplie, hairy, wrinklie, 76 points.
Total cost £19.78.
All in all not bad, but quite disappointing - very little clearance stuff, no HE (well actually Silverlink had a couple of bottles in the old style, but still at full price. Are the discounts always marked on SEL?)
Might consider going to Kingston Park tomorrow. Any shopping recommendations would be greatly appreciated!
Incidentally someone mentioned a few pages back that the No7 pore refining serum was good. I was looking at this today but couldn't decide between the ordinary pore refining serum and the hydro quench pore refining serum. Both No7, ordinary is £11.50 on .com, hydro is £11.26. Anyone have any preferences between the two?
Also I got ACM vouchers today on both my and my mam's card for 100pts on something called the No7 body beautiful range. Anyone got any ideas what's included in this range? I've tried searching on .com, but it doesn't come up with anything.OS weight loss challenge: 4.5/6 lbs0 -
Hello all,
Can anyone tell me how do I get these £5 off vouchers as I bought some clarins stuff today and the SA said that she would scan a £5 off voucher for me! I asked her if it was a promotion of the day and she just said 'no it's just a £5 off voucher' and that was it.
I am very happy that I had the voucher but I'm still puzzled as to why I got it? Can anyone shed some light on this? And how do I get any more?0 -
Tried to use the Lacoste "Love of Pink" coupon from Cosmopolitan today but it beeped
, SA said she would over ride it so I asked her if she would over ride it on the smaller size instead as they had run out of the GWP which I was disapointed not to get. She refused but said they would be getting more of the gifts in so I said that I will wait, do you think they will? Has anyone else had any trouble with this voucher?

How about a rescue dog?0 -
Hi,
I really really want some reduced NC flannel cupcakes but I haven't found any in my local shop - they are still full price. Does anyone know if there are any reduced in any stores around Basingstoke/Newbury/Reading?? TIA!

Hellooooo
had a bit of a mini bootsing expedition yesterday but it was pretty stressful!! I was visiting a friend over in Sutton (surrey) so decided to call into the boots there and see if it was any good & I have to say won't be going back! Not very good for clearance, then found empty space where Anti-fatigue gift washbags should be so I I asked an SA whether they might have any in the stock cupboard - she appeared bored by my question & just said 'if theres none out we don't have any!!' - so that was helpful!!
Next I proceeded to checkout with the following items in my basket:
No7 Sumptious Bath Soak - £7.80
No7 P&P Handcream - £10.00
Olay total Effects cream wash - £5.86
250 No7 points from GWP
100 ACM points Body Beautiful
£5 perkie
£5 ACM off P&P
£5 wrinklie
Also, being cheeky I also had put a No7 GWP (the mens!) in my basket - I was actually 20p short of the spend limit!!! nothing ventured nothing gained!)
However, I must admit when I got to the checkout I started getting anxious about it - had been hoping I might get an SA that I could have a sort of joke about it with and see if they'd give me a nod & a wink like some seem to do for some of you lovely ladies on here! Anyway there was a youngish lad and another older man serving & I just knew that I'd have more luck with the younger one - I don't know why but just something told me the other guy was gonna be trouble - & I was right & of course I got him!!
Anyway everything was going fine but then he tried to scan the GWP & it beeped as I was under the £18 spend by 20p!!! and he had no humour at all when I was kind of joking & saying oh really oh by how much - 20p is that all - well it is the mens which is worth less anyway - is there anyway it can go thru? nothing he was just rigid - & by this time another SA had come along & was serving at the next till & just looking at him as if to say oh for goodness sake its 20p put it thru!! Anyway I just said oh don't worry forget about - couldn't be bothered to go & look for something else to bump up my spend!
But then just has he'd completed everything - the till malfunctioned!! So then he was saying Madam I will have to move you over to my colleague - the female SA who was now serving next to him - but he wanted her to put everything thru manually (ALL my vouchers were locked in his till!!) but she was saying that she could put the items through but not the vouchers on them!!! so we stood there for what seemed ages whilst they were conflabbing! I took a call & when I got off the phone it seemed they were just standing there staring at me!! So I was like so what are doing? waiting for & they just kept saying well the till is locked... mmmm... and? I was getting a bit frustrated by this point so said 'what is the plan then please?' & they said do you still want them 'a-hu I've been waiting 10mins now so don't want it to be wasted!' still nothing so I finally said 'please can you tell me what we're waiting for?' - the woman SA kept saying to him maybe we should call 'Jamie' so I agreed lets call Jamie & then the male SA got stroppy & said 'we are waiting for it to re-boot'!!!
ohhhhh right!! Why didn't he bloomin well say so!! Anyway once it rebooted the female SA got all my vouchers and started over & she was lovely!! she even said as she was doing it 'you do realise don't you that if you spend a little more you can get a No7 GWP' - I said I know but wasn't sure what was the cheapest to get - she then said prob the wipes - let me go & get you some!!! Bless!! when she came back she said the wipes are actually £6.** but there's this No7 No Grains exfoliator for £4.30 so I had that & then got my GWP!! Also in the confusion I was certain that I had handed over the £5 wrinklie but later found it in my pocket!! so another £5 up!! Won't be going back there though!!
Ooh have just looked in the Mens GWP - quite like it - will be great for my 17yr old nephew's birthday coming up!! only thing is theres a 250 No7 points voucher with expiry dayd of 27.01.09!!! Guess I need to phone customer services!! Anyway must dash - having withdrawal symptoms from not having been to a Boots today - had a lovely day tho - went to Nandos for lunch & then the cinema with a couple of my girlie chums!! Niiice friday afternoon!!
PS. sorry this turned into a bit of a 'chat' - is there going to be a separate thread set up for 'Boots chatting'? Don't want to get told off...0
