Had a stressful shop in Swansea today (stressful because I get flustered doing lots of transactions and hunting for vouchers in my bag
) but successful! A few things I noticed through trial and error:
- Perkie did not work on No7 eye smudge brush (£6.00 although the SEL said £4.50!). Someone else said yesterday that it did not work on moisturising gloves either, so I guess it doesn't include accessories this time
- Perkie does work on No7 Radiance Revealed Exfoliator (£3.90). I couldn't find this at the No7 counter, but it was in the No7 section in the premium skincare aisle.
- Hairy did not work on John Frieda sachets - the Miracle Creme and some blonde one. This worked last time, so I was quite surprised.
- 100 points No7 ACM voucher did not work on either the hand cream or the eye make up remover
- 50 points wyb Botanics cotton wool does not work on Boots own brand cotton wool (I was curious :rotfl:) I still haven't seen this in store but I did notice that on .com Botanics cotton pads are on buy one, get second half price
So this is what I bought
Shop 1
2 x Double Faced Cotton Pads - £2.00 multisave
3 x Boots Baby Soft Cloth Wipes 72s - £3.00 multisave
Shop 2
2 x Clean and Clear Blackhead Cleanser - £5.00 multisave

There were posters up around the store advertising the 200ml P&P serum with (if I remember correctly) £15 off, 300 bonus points and samples of the P&P day and night cream. Wonder if they'd let you get lots of GWPs and use perkie, £5 ACM, 250 points GWP voucher and 100 points ACM? :rotfl: The P&P body serum was no longer advertised as half price.
Clearance section upstairs had Christmas cards for 10p a box, loads of chocolate coins and lollies for 10p each and No7 stuff for £1 each. The No7 stuff was suncare like the gradual tan facial moisturiser and the toning stuff in a blue bottle. You could probably get 5 of these with a perkie. There is also a clearance section downstairs by the pharmacy, which had Bach gift sets (the one with a massage tool) for £3.90, panadol and supplements reduced. Still loads of Olay GWP in the premium skincare aisle.
Also, I was planning to buy No7 Protect & Perfect Pre-Holiday Body Treatment today and use perkie, £5 P&P ACM, 100 points ACM (assuming it would work as it has 'body' in the name) and get £1ish off rest of shopping. But I couldn't find it

Just received my first set of LV's as i've now discovered the exciting world of online surveys:j :rotfl:
So....how do they work??
Example: can i use them all together (£3 total) to buy a Meal Deal? & if so, will that meal register on my AC towards my '5 purchased/get 6th free'.........pleeeeeze say yes
Pretty obvious really but, do they have to be used on food items.......this time say no

Can anyone recommend a spot gel that comes with the wrinklie as DD wants one and I have several wrinklies to use up?
Hi
I have the Dr Nick Lowe spot gel and it is great. I gave one to my sister also as she suffers with spots and they seem to dry up the spots fast and reduce inflammation. It is available with the Wrinklie and is around £8.36 so £3.36 with voucher.0 -
Stopped off in one of my local Boots and they have P&P body lotion in 3 separate places. In one place the 1/2 price sign still up, so picked one up. Used £5 ACM, £5 perkie, 100pts ACM body beautiful and 250pts gwp, so paid £2.25 with 350pts back plus a new GWP with 250pts inside (but yet another plum beautiful lipstick).
They also left the 1/2price sign up, so may go back tomorrow when a different SA is working, unless anyone in my area hasn't managed to buy one yet as I already have 2 now.
Also bought a UG mini and Trevor Sorbie mini and used 2x 150pts ACM. There were no cheap Olay products left to use with wrinklie, but lots of JF mini serums and hairsprays. They also had NC cupcakes for 61p 3 4 2 (left these) and S&G wash your hands for £2.20 3 4 2 (left these). Think that's about it.
Oh, the SA was saying that as this GWP has been so popular and mother's day is approaching, they have extended it for another month and postponed the NO.7 3 4 2 promotion.0 -

I'm not sure how useful this will be, but here is the list I made last time blinkies were on (which I updated from when pinkies were on!)
I'm not sure how accurate the prices/products will be now, but might be usful to some0 -
Hi, Made a bit of a boo-boo today. Went to Boots today to get some P&P hand cream & was very excited to see I was being offered the £5 P&P voucher at the ACM which meant I would be able to get them free with a purkies I had. So I pressed print button x3....bent down to collet vouchers from the slot.....none there!!! The machine had run out of paper!! Aaaaargh. Went to another 2 machines but none offered me the same voucher. Does anyone know if it will reappear in the future or will it have registered that I printed them off & not offer it to me again??
Thanks0 -
Was working just north of Nottingham today so popped into Derby Westfield on the way up and found some clearance lines - Dead Sea Source De Stress Ginger Salt Soak reduced to £3.91, Essential Aromatherapy bath essence reduced to £2.44 and gift packs of Essential Aromatherapy bath essence 4 x body wash down to £3.91 and 342 as well.
Then spied S&G Easy Glistening reduced to £2 so picked up two of those and a handful of self laminating postcards at £1 per pack of 6 - handy for DD's forthcoming wedding.
Went over to my favourite SA and asked if I could do separate transactions to collect more of the new vouchers - no problem. I know I was in a rush but it had completely slipped my mind that S&G was 342 but she reminded me and went herself to get me another Easy Glistening - whilst she was gone I remembered I just happened to have some S&G vouchers with me so when she came back I asked her if they would work - after they beeped she read them carefully and then just added them on manually so got all of the S&G for free! Came away with three perkies. NC shelves were bare where the offers had been.
At lunchtime I popped into the tiny tiny local and gulped when I saw P&P Body Serum still at half price - I knew what I had to do. Nipped outside to sort out my vouchers out of SA's sight and then went back in clutching £5 off P&P ACM, perkie and 250 GWP points, x 3. I kept the points voucher on the outside and wrapped the others inside. Took three body serums to the till and asked if I could pay separately as I wanted to make full use of my vouchers - showing the wrapped up points vouchers in my hand. No problem - the first one showed at £24.50 so I said, that's wrong they're half price. Puzzled SA went and looked at the label on the shelf, took it off the shelf and went to talk to supervisor. Came back and said the offer should have finished but as the label was still showing they would honour it. Thanked her profusely and then produced the vouchers for the first transaction, she did a double take when she realised I was only going to pay £2.25 - and get 250 extra points, but she did all three transactions for me so I was chuffed that Mr B actually paid me a little bit to take it away for him.
Made a pretty sharp exit after that so didn't have time to look for anything else - off to Leicester tomorrow in search of NC cupcakes and pillows.0
