OH loves it, often do it for him for dinner, I'm not keen, but this is my method - you need 1 leek, small tub double cream, olive oil, nkob of butter and a couple of ounces of cheese (ie stilton, cheddar, whatever is lurking in the fridge!)
1. Slice the leeks into thin rounds
2. Heat a knob of butter and 2 tsp oil in a pan
3. Add the leeks and cook on a low heat for 6-8 minutes until very soft
4. Add the double cream
5. Break up the blue cheese and add. Stir until the cheese has melted
6. Season with salt and pepper to taste
Sounds yum. I'll buy a leek on the way home. Got Stilton in the freezer.0 -

Just break up the leeks as you soften them and add a bit of black pepper if you want. Also works well if you soften sliced mushrooms in the same way.

I love mushrooms too and adore stilton. Get the Stilton direct from the home of stilton.
Dread to think of the points involved though!:eek:0 -
I've just put DD2's postcode into the O2 mobile broadband network checker and computer says No! (not recommended anyway). Looks like back to the drawing board!0

I am sooooooooo close to signing up for Virgin mobile's £8.50 per month deal. Twice I've got as far as making the first month's payment and stopped. I've checked my PAYG useage and I loaded up
£10 beg. Nov,
£10 29 Dec
£5 20 Jan
£5 12 Feb
so £8.50 per month is what I'm spending at the moment anyway.....I wouldn't use the 100 minutes because I never call anyone and I guess it would give me the freedom to text a bit more if I wanted to (but I only text OH to say 'dinner ready', 'I suppose the taxi service can come and get you' or replies to Len's mad ramblings or pervy jokes!)
If I choose the Nokia that come with it, I can have web access for 30p per day if used, which would be great for any train journeys to DFW meets......
Not sure.........
Errr me too BB. I used up credit last month having to forward on Lens jokes to my son..Don't tell him but my son thinks he is ace for all those jokes:rotfl: Do you think i should just pass his mobile onto Lensave me a fortune..but the deal looks good...i am so tempted.:D

I was also going to pass on a couple of Len's jokes, but they are long so a couple of texts each - I wasn't going to spend 2 texts on just sending them on!!
I'm still tempted..........ooooooh, I don't know......it's an 18 month contract........"Stay Wonky":D
