When I started comping, I decided to keep everything I win (or give it to the hubby/kids) as it would feel like a treat for stuff I wouldn't normally buy, like the professional knife set I won, no way would I have paid £200 for 3 knives (they are superb to use!)

I have only sold 2 prizes and one was a set of tickets to see the Hoosiers as won them when too late to change a shift at work and the other one was a book (think I entered when on automode and didn't realise!).

Comping lets me own things and experience things I wouldn't shell out actually cash for and I love it!!!!!!

I only enter the comps that are of interest to me and the prize is something that I would like to win.

If I was lucky enough to win duplicate prizes I wouldn't have a problem selling them though.

  • I've yet to win anything as I never received my prize in my sig, so that's going to have to be deleted soon! Been comping since December and do about 100+ a day! *Boo hoo* Lol!

I always enter competitions for anything I fancy for myself or my Fiance and for my 2 little Cousins who are 7 and 8 and have had a a really rough time so far and I would love nothing better than to win a Wii for them. Fingers crossed I can! :)

I generally only enter things I really want or that would be good to add to my present drawer. But have sold some things - like when I won 3 MP3 players in a week. Kept one, gave one and sold one. And when I won a mahoosive sony bravia telly at a time when I was very strapped for cash it was handy to be able to sell it and pay some bills (it was a bit big for my flat really, would've looked a bit silly).

Still wondering what to do with my Rizla Bowling Ball :o

I only ever enter comps that have prizes for myself or my family.

I would never dream of entering something just so if I won it I could sell it, I look at the comps as an opportunity to win something you may not be able to afford or a money can't buy prize.

I would feel awful winning a prize someone would really love but could never afford and the only reason I wanted it was to sell it and I know I feel much better when someone wins something I really, really wanted to win if I know it's something that has delighted them, if they won a prize I really would have loved only to hear "woohooo, can't wait to get that on ebay" I would be gutted especially when someone who really wanted it could not afford it missed out.
