I normally enter comps that I want to win or can use for presents. That way I can give far better presents than I would be able to buy, and they are really appreciated.

I don't enter comps for tickets, etc as I wouldn't use them.

As has been said before, comp prizes are the property of the person who won them, and it's up to them what use they make of them.

I've given them for raffle prizes, and I really like the idea of dog/cat food to animal sanctuaries.

I think immoral is a a little harsh. How is selling a prize any more or less immoral than someone entering magazine competitions from a post on this forum when they haven't read or paid for the magazine for example?:confused:
  • i only enter comps for prizes i'd want or i could give to a family member(mainly ones i want of course!:D ) my missus moans enough about how long i spend doing that so i don't bother with a lot of the others but each to their own i suppose:confused:
this will be mine  member 362
    wins: white lies cd
  • I only enter comps where the prizes are suitable for me, friends or family.

I've not won a lot yet, but of the things I have won, baby stuff was given to my nephew and some pretty hair clips were given to my friends daughter. Not managed to win anything for my own boys yet! lol

I don't enter comps to win tickets/premieres, ski holidays, wedding items or maternity/tiny baby things as I have no use for them so can't see the point.
I'd prefer to use my "luck" on things I'd like.

Not won anything that I could Ebay but don't think I'd rule it out, especially if I won a runners up prize of a game where I don't have the console to play it on!

    I sell them obviously!

Don't like winning prizes I can use. :D

I only enter comps that either myself or my family want or need, I wouldn't delibrately enter a competition just to win to sell it on as I feel a bit guilty in depriving someone who would really want the prize. Hope that helps x :D

As with me too :D I can't imagine anything worse than winning something I actually don't want. Having won two cracking prizes, it's an amzing feeling. I'm sure winning something you don't really want can't feel anything like the same.

I'm desperate for a wii or a latop so concentrating most of my efforts on those right now!

Each to their own on this one as we all have our own personal reasons why we comp xx
I truthfully don't care what people do with their prizes,There are so many comps out there that if i don't win i move on to the next and so on.
We are all trying to better our lives by comping so if u sell or keep whats the difference?
I have one major prize of a signed item by a very famous pop star which i will sell one day , when the time is right and its worth alot more than it is now xx

Agree with Toniq, it's up to anyone what they do with their wins. I do sell a few bits and bobs that I win, although the majority I tend to use or give to friends/family etc.

It's most definitely not immoral to sell prizes, a matter of personal choice certainly, but not immoral. Frankly I don't think it's anyone's business what people do with their property!!

    too many comps..not enough time!
  • I keep mine or give them to family as presents. I gave a few as top ups for the kids xmas presents which really helped. The only thing I've sold so far was an xbox game that my husband didn't want. I never enter for tickets I can't use.
Thanks to all competiton posters, This really is the best ever hobby :j
