I keep all prizes that I want and sell the rest on ebay. Ive made quite a bit towards my wedding - infact paid for practically the whole thing and I am not ashamed to admit I enter most competitions and then sell stuff I don't want/need

I bought my Thomas mad middle son a Thomas the Tank bed with profit I made from selling a few DVD's and an Ipod - his little face when he saw it was amazing, I'd never have been able to afford it if it wasn't for comping.
I know many mse'ers do the same

I'm greedy.:D I only enter comps for prizes that I want. I do give things away for birthdays or Christmas prezzies sometimes though. Usually if I don't need or want it myself.;)0

Keep some, hand onto them for prezzies or sell them - no problems with ebaying things, I just haven't won that much worth selling yet (the decent prizes so far I've kept for myself.)
I'll enter practically anything (except the kids comps) as I just like getting lots of stuff through the door. (Not lately though, the luck's out at the moment.)All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.
Pedant alert - it's could have, not could of.0 -
Keep them, something to look back on. Unless it's something that I feel someone else can really use then I give them away but I tend to only enter for stuff that is more useful to me or someone close. I think its pointless entering for stuff such as ....prams, when I am not pregnant. At least others will get a fair chance.Big thanks to all who contribute to the forums. Be lucky everyone and be safe!0

I only enter competitions for things that I or my family want. I did end up with a few extra bits last year that I couldn't make use of - little things like beauty products and chocolates so we made them up into several nice prizes and ran a raffle with them at work in aid of Children in Need.MASSIVE THANKS TO ALL POSTERS!:happyhear0

I only enter comps that either myself or my family want or need, I wouldn't delibrately enter a competition just to win to sell it on as I feel a bit guilty in depriving someone who would really want the prize. Hope that helps x

Me too - well said xSW: Wk1 (5) Wk2 (2.5) Wk3 - Wk 4 (4) Wk 5 - (1.5) Wk 6 (1) Total off 1 stone!:j0 -
I enter competitions mainly with the intention of saving them towards birthdays, christmas's etc, but I do also sell a couple on ebay - or when its been a film goody bag thats turned out to be quite rubbish then it goes to the charity shop!
I have no problems with people selling any or all of their bits on ebay, its the luck of the draw and if they are lucky enough to win then good luck to them!
Any bits we sell go to our house deposit fund, as we are reaching our thirties and still are first time buyers and getting rather desperate to own!

I have only entered competitions that I would like to win or one of the kids would be interested in. I am still waiting for my first win but I guess it takes time. I did enter a competition for Slug and Lettuce from here, didn't win but whilst I was on the site I put details in to go and test thier new menu. Had a nice evening with OH and just paid for the drinks.0
