Why would they care who buys it.
I've been in a few time and have never seen it in stock.0 -
Builders also have lofts of their own!! My Bro who is a builder went for some and they had sold out. They told him that they wouldn't have sold it to him anyway coz he's trade!! It was for his own house.0

I work for a B&Q Store and I can tell you the staff do not get any bonus or discount for selling as many of these as they can.
We were limited to 15 rolls per customer but this was not comunicated effectively to some parts of the store, also as mentioned before people were purchasing the limit going away and then purchasing more of them with a different member of staff.
B&Q stores that are larger open at 7am and close at 9pm during the week, although it is true that most of the customers are trade during this time we are not open exclusively for trade purchases.
We were not informed in my store of the 'no trade' clause however this may be due to the fact that we dont have a dedicated trade area...
In my store we were not told when to expect delivery's of the insulation just that we should have a delivery on monday (last) around 10am...it arrived at 8am.
Also we have not been told to expect any more delivery's but as the advert was on last night I assume we will get some more in at some point...?0 -
I had a phone call from Focus to tell me that the ten rolls I'd ordered on Sunday had arrived. What I hadn't realised was that the rolls are about 1.5m wide. We could only get five of them in our Mondeo estate so it might be worth going along to Focus to see if they have any left from uncollected orders.0

I'm also a B&Q employee. We have been very strict on the limits in our store & also will not sell it to trade. However, our stocks have gone very quickly, within in hour or so of it being put out. The reason it is so cheap is because it is subsidised by British Gas & this is why you are required to fill out a questionnaire. It is possible that we will be having another delivery on Friday, but this is by no means definite & I would strongly advise phoning the store before making a special trip.0

We got 20 pallets of this in our store yesterday which sold very quickly. We are expecting some more next week, probably Thursday again so other stores will probably get some more then also. It seems to be best to phone about 8.30 to see if any has arrived as even if it arrives earlier it doesnt get put straight out so the trade customers dont buy it all. The reason trade cant buy it is because it isnt fair on our other customers and they cant use their trade account card as they also get a discount when they use this. If they use cash though and say it is for their own use we have to take their word for it.0

We have had another delivery today but think that will be our last while it is this price. I think the offer finishes this week.0
