  • Hi folks

I've only posted on one of these threads once before but really want to get into the habit of posting daily as its a great motivator and I LOVE lists, plus i have a paycut looming so need to keep on top of finances (thanks to SM for starting threads!!)

    Today I have/will do:

    - checked internet banking
    - used work van to get to work instead of taking car, to save on my petrol
    - make curry for dinner consisting of leftover veg in fridge
    - take 3 bags of stuff that I didn't sell at last weeks carboot sale to charity shop
    - do surveys that are in my inbox
    - write at least one dooy*o review
    - enter all holiday competitions I can find
    - daily clicks/scratchcards
    - take photos of stuff for ebay
    - put any change left in wallet tonight into pot
    - write minimum 500 words of novel
    - write list of things to do this weekend

Quick question - what on earth does "hokey cokey laundry/washing" mean??

    Hope everyones enjoying their Friday!
    LSS xx

Hey all, it is a beautiful spring like day today in sunny sunny Bournemouth - so hard to believe that this time last week there was a blizzard here!

    1) Online scratch x 10p ( no friday log-on bonus  )
    2) Mum gave me £2 that she owed me and 10 mins later I used it to buy a Sean Hughes stand-up DVD from a charity shop. Bargain! Saw him on tour and really enjoyed it so might watch it tomorrow night with OH seeing as we are far too tight to go out on Valentines Day.
    3)Checked online banking.
    4) E-mailed my phone number to someone enquiring about one of my items on Gumtree.
    5) T took me to check out our new local Sure Start. He goes there with his childminder and wanted me to see where he goes, bless him. Found out about some free sessions I can take him to on my days off.
    6) Bought some great clearance items in Homebase including posh cushions for 2.24, a funky boys dimmer switch for 1.45, and got B a gorgeous duvet set for 2.70. I was delighted with all my items and they came to just over a tenner so I don't feel guilty. Will try and sell some of B's old bed linen though as it is really nice, but too girly for an almost teenager unfortunately.

Will go off to the park in a mo and make the most of the sunshine - have a good evening everyone and happy saving!
