Friday 13/2/09 What small dfw things have you done today???

But once we have done the bigger stuff, we often feel that we are not making the same amount of progress, when in fact the small steps are helping us form good financial habits and helping us get closer everyday to staying in control and becoming debt free, or staying debt free;)
Examples could be charging your phone up at work instead of at home to save your electricity, hanging washing out instead of using the tumble dryer or leaving your purse/wallet at home to avoid the risk of spending.
So be proud of those small steps, they really are important.:D
Today i will:
- check online banking - Woo Hoo salary in bank today:D
- update spreadsheets
- move some money to savings and different pots
- storecupboard lunch and tea with oldies
- laundry hokey cokey for OH
- ironing for me
- reduce, reuse,recycle one thing
- clean one room in house to save having big clean at weekend -:D all done after tonight
- swim and jacuzzi to use gym membership and get very pruney
- use more xmas smellies up at gym
- not use car
- try and have a no spend day
- Be very sparkly -

it's Friday again:j , although it is Friday the 13th Off to costco for oldies later, need supplies for Valentines party tomorrow and tea tonight. Also need to do my expenses form - hate doing those but work now owes me quite a bit of money after hosting a forum here last month and paying out for catering:eek:

Possibly second for the first time ever
Big thank you to SM - my pay day is 15th as well and after I saw your post I checked for pay - and it's IN :T Muchos celebrations here especially as my petrol claim has gone through too :j
Must be careful though as this turns NEXT month into a five week month instead of this month - IYSWIM!

Move my compost and grain from the car but it weighs a tonne (but free so all good) got boys to do it - well done chaps - they are useful teenagers - kept them busy for about 1/2 until they thought about using the wheelbarrow:rotfl:

Tidy up

Today I will:
-send letters to creditors who aren't replying to my letters
-make lunch for OH to drop off at work
-go to friends to help her move into her new place
-yell at the guy in the bank who called her abusive names after messing up her bank account upgrade which left her without a card for a month and talk to his manager
-think about what to do for mine and OH valentines day-we are celebrating it on 14th april instead of tomorrow cos we are skint lol
getting bored of being unemployed, can't find a job and getting so tired of people asking if I have found anything. Would I be sitting watching Will & Grace if I had?!!?!

- brought in breakfast and lunch - shouldn't spend anything today!
- updated my spreadsheet
- sulked because vodafone won't refund my month's insurance because they say 30 days' notice was needed, but no-one told me :mad:
- talked my OH out of going to the footie and watching six nations with me instead :kisses3: (it is 300 miles away!!)
- also a friend bought me pizza express dinner last night to say thanks for letting her stay (and I brought the vouchers!!)
