Isn't it ironic. There was a post on the forums some weeks back about the inconvenience that argos had caused a customer by opening the package before handing it over and how annoyed the buyer was. Admittedly they had removed seals,etc which could cause some problems.

And here we have a good reason for us to allow them to do so. I guess it's swings and roundabouts.

They should have replaced it no problems before today! Could have solved it before now! Did noone else in the store realise that the sellophane was missing then?!

like you say i can imagine if argos policy was to say once out the shop no refunds then people would complain about wasting there time, as it is the argos my wife went to is 15miles away and prettybad traffic just to get there so we would have much preferred the girl to check it before leaving, time and petrol, and argos ona saturday isn't fun it was packed.

As we have never owned a nano i didnt realise until we got the new one that the whole nano box should be wrapped in cellophane, but then i'm not sure if the girl behind the counter would have realised anyway.
