    I have some chicken breasts I was hoping to try something new with....might give this a bash!

  • Hi Saver, yes you could use the tinned toms, or salsa, well i dont see why not.
    You could also use tomato ketchup, this is mentioned in the original recipe. for me its a no no because of the slimming world diet i follow.

  • I'm not on sw but we have this a couple of times a month. We have it with noodles, rice etc. May try the Tango one next time as we love sweet & sour. Thanks for that!

    Not tried this really need to give it ago - heard about it a few times, but along the same lines - ham cooked in coke is amazing.. not sure if its slimmin world friendly but even the smart price ham thingy is good enough. :beer:

    Ooh thinking of making this for when a friend comes round on Thursday, was wondering what I could make without having to go to the shops and I think I have most of these ingredients! :)

    If I don't have passata could I substitute anything else? Have got tomato puree, chopped tomatoes, tomato pasta sauce, tomato ketchup... tomato puree watered down a bit?

  • few freinds have been making this , sounds ewww fanta chicken and dietcoke chicken, app fanta taste sweet n sour and coke is bbq taste

    think i might give it ago this week
    anyone else want to try it or had it xxx;)
