yes i agree, lousy keyboard, no doubt why it's being given off free! e2save r no longer offering it in fact. yea, thought a different sim wldn't access this G3 line. as i'm not much of a mobile user it wldn't matter 2 me, but i guess i might get charged the £30 per month anyway. or am i not activated until i start using the G3 service. wee wifie in highlands, not up to speed with mobiles!

I'm not sure what the situation as far as starting the contract would be for you if you haven't got a sim. I would expect the contract to start at some point independent to when you start using their sim. Might be a good idea to get on the blower to e2save or fire them an email and see what's going on.

yes have done that thx, will let u know how i get on. will the sim automatically provide me with a tel no and connect me to whatever service they're contracting me to? the paperwork seems to offer me a choice, but nowhere to make the choice? no doubt it will be on this mysterious sim! i know it's a wee thing and i don't think i dropped it and lost it :)

The friendly sales guy then ordered me one on the "Free tariff" saving me 12x3.99. :D

Try it & see if it works for you.

cool! what day did you ring up and get the deal?

    Pat,
the sim will be fixed to whatever contract you placed the order for (probably Talkt+Text 600) in this case, the paper with the deals is just fyi and so you can see what you get charged for your plan. The number will be fixed to the sim as well.

Yes the sim is quite wee on its own :) but it comes attached to a credit card sized card that you punch it out from and then that was inside a paper envelope with the phone number on the outside as well so wouln't be the easiest of things to lose!

thx, so i can stop worrying i was stupid enough to throw it out with the envelope! i'll email them again. you're very kind, this is my first decent mobile. i wld never pay £30 per month for a mobile, but i guess it's ok if i'm getting my money back. i just love this forum, you're all very helpful

I rang them on Friday afternoon & the phone was delivered on Monday morning! ;D

They like to deliver the phone to the card holders address, so best to keep it this way. I know they price match & beat competitors deals, e.g. phones4you, so persevere, if you get sales person who doesnt want to know put the phone down & try again, 08000 49 64 96, its a freephone no.

Also in answer to other posters I have had a 7600 from when CPW sold them for 44.99 on PAYG. Its not everyones cup of tea, but is about the smallest 'Three' handset there is, compared to their other bricks. I use it with my 3 contract sim & its great for use with a bluetooth kit when in the car, the photo quality from the camers isnt that bad either for close-up shots.
  • Sorry to ask but got no documentation with the phone.

1- How much is it to call 0845 and 0870 numbers on this tariff?? or is it
    included in the minutes.

2- Can you send and receive pictures or videos with the inclusive texts or
are they extra- if so how much??

3- To end the contract how much notice do you have to give??

4 - What can you download free for 30 days- everything is excluded on my
phone - or is it that I am not in the 3G coverage area?? Can I download the
rent for 3 days games ??( I know the buy games are excluded) - I can not see
    any pop videos to download??

    Thanks

    Your answers in blue below

1- How much is it to call 0845 and 0870 numbers on this tariff?? or is it

I have an existing 750 min per month plan & these are included on my tariff, but best to check with customer services from your Three mobile dial 333

2- Can you send and receive pictures or videos with the inclusive texts or
are they extra- if so how much??
...sorry don'y know about this one, but I doubt its Free with Three!

3- To end the contract how much notice do you have to give??
In the first 14 days you can cancel your contract but after that you are deemed to have entered into a 12 month agreement & I believe you have to give them one months notice. In any case with the e2save deal you can't claim cashback if you end contract early.

4 - What can you download free for 30 days- everything is excluded on my

You have to be in a 'video service area' to get the full content menu, don't know about your other Q's, sorry. ???
  • Mine arrived today - excellent - thanks for original threader

It came with "3" sim card - anyone know if this has the £15 on, or if it is simply the sim alone

    Thanks
