    dannii it does support vista but it just needs more ram, easy to sort out

    As DCFC79 says is supports Vista otherwise the computer wouldn't work. You just buy more and install it on the laptop.

    use a site like crucial and it will tell you which ram you need, you dont have to buy from them but you can buy from anotehr site like ebuyer

    Go up to 2GB RAM and that should sort it out. Vista Home Premium will run on 1GB but with anything else open it will crawl.
    I recall the same problem with a Dell laptop purchased soon after Vista was released. Don't think any sensible vendor is now building Vista systems with only 1 GB installed.
    No free lunch, and no free laptop ;)

    2GB minimum more would be better cos the graphics will eat a fair chunk of that especially if you play games.
