By heck that was good. :j
I'd like to say a huge thank-you to everyone who contributed to this post, especially Rikki & CQ for nursemaiding me through, Squeaky and the other BGs for not merging me, but all who answered my daft questions and laughed at and with me. :T :T
I have complete confidence that I could do it again, alone, unaided and without a safety-net.
Wirenth - if I can do it, so can you.
So, what about those leftovers? Can I just turn the SC back on tomorrow and have it again? Will the dumplings be ok? Don't say soup coz I'll never get the meat and dumplings to go through my sieve. :rotfl:If you lend someone a tenner and never see them again, it was probably worth it.0 -
I would store it in a container in the fridge over night and warm it through in a sausepan on the stove tomorrow night when your ready.£2 Coins Savings Club 2012 is £4

And.... you have the same plates as me (Jeff Banks Ports of Call) so that looks almost exactly like my beef casserole which is HERE and is made with exactly the same ingredients :T
......... only I serve mine with mashJust run, run and keep on running!0 -

You can microwave it tomorrow
The dumplings will be heavier but they'll be ok.
re healthiness. Well you have a bit of stodge in the dumplings and some salt and stuff from the Oxo but the way to look at it is that it's freshly made and you know what's in it so while it may not exactly be 'health food' it's much better than a ready meal as it isn't loaded with additives, preservatives and flavourings.Just run, run and keep on running!0 -

So what's the difference between a stew and a casserole? If you lend someone a tenner and never see them again, it was probably worth it.0 -
