Good one! Nice surprise! :rotfl:If you lend someone a tenner and never see them again, it was probably worth it.0 -
I mix my dumplings with a knife. Divide the mixture into four while in the bowl then place them in the stew.
Yes the do sink and grow large.
Normally have a bowl of water ready to wash hands, saves scraping the excess dumpling off the taps. :rotfl:£2 Coins Savings Club 2012 is £4

Well, a knife was my choice of mixing tool too! It wouldn't divide though - too sticky! Did I add too much water? It didn't take much at all.

They are sticky. Its just to roughly divide them to get them equalish in amount. They make their own shape when they are in the stew.£2 Coins Savings Club 2012 is £4

awwwwww.... I missed this thread until now

It's SOOOOO funny :rotfl:
Hope the concoction is going well, test the dumplings with a fork before you switch everything off. I always find that mine take longer than they should. If you make a hole in the top of one it should look dry inside not wet and sticky
Just run, run and keep on running!0 -

It is not a "concoction"! It's proper stew made with a stew pack and stewing steak - definately very stewy!
And very timely post ta...I was just about to ask how you check dumplings. :TIf you lend someone a tenner and never see them again, it was probably worth it.0 -
Don't forget to warm your plate.
EDIT: its a good job the site didn't go down in the last 24 hours. Just imagine.£2 Coins Savings Club 2012 is £4
