    Nae luck as they say in my part of the world! I think I've had it bad if the Forth Road Bridge toll goes up from 80p to £1 (although they are now talking about putting it up to £4!) :eek:

    That sounds cheap to me, round here it costs £4.80 to cross the Severn Bridge from Bristol to Wales (Chepstow). At 2 miles long, apparently that is more expensive per mile than a trans-atlantic flight (or some silly statistic like that!!). Mind you, they only charge to come into wales not to go back to england :rotfl:

    Anyway, was very disorganised this morning so no time to make sandwiches, £2.65 on lunch in the canteen. But will be better the rest of the week, I promise ;)

    £14.00 on getting some keys cut which were badly cut and don't open the doors!!

    Ever wonder about those people who spend £2 apiece on those little bottles of Evian water? Try spelling Evian backward.
  • 60p - just to get change for car park - then spent £2 on parking, grrr. Moved car in the afternoon to sneaky, not supposed to park there directors' car park. At least it saved me 2 quid.

    total debt as at 02/02/06 = 18944

    2006 target = finally get my share of money from divorce, pay off cards
    rest of year = use remaining money to build up house deposit
    2007 = buy a house

    I did it - am now safely in house with my boyfriend. We're sorting out our joint finances and getting organised. GOOD LUCK to all those on the board. You can get there.

  • No spending again today - in bed poorly for a while. OH spent price of pkt mince to make spag bol for himself and young'uns. Since spag and mince'n'onions are his only meals, my time in bed could be a bit of a money saver, except that the kids start to complain after a day or two and they end up ordering pizza.

    Double his repertoire :)
    Mince, one tin of Tesco's mixed veg (26p) spoonful of gravy powder cooked up together, top off with mashed potato (I buy the cheapest ready made one for about a pound as I'm awful at making it!) and bung in the oven for a bit till it bubbles and browns. Serve with a jugful of frozen peas microwaved for about four mins.

    Oh !!!!!!! I cant believe I could of saved £4 by buying the book via this site, I didnt even think to look!! But I have to say I may of gone and brought it anyway, I was in the mood to spend money and as I wanted it anyway I thought it was the safest purchase :) I cant take it back as Ive already started high-lighting bits :) Ive left it on my desk at work so when I feel the need to spend money I can read my book over lunch instead :) but i do feel bad for spending money on this when I could of got it cheaper...Ive failed already :(
