Hey pixie1, you could have got the book for £3.99 + p&p from the link on the home page! Never mind, still money well spent. I keep re-reading it and am still getting good tips even though I spend half my time on here anyway! :rotfl:

Ok, spent £9.84 ordering junior echinacea for my kids and £11 something in Budgens on some food. :D

Have spent nothing, but 'saved' £10.84.

£0.84 refund came in from Amazon for 2 books I ordered early January that had reduced in price.

Another item I ordered at the beginning of the week I noticed today had come down by £10, rang them up, politely asked for a refund, the lady asked for me, and said that prices go up and down, and they were unable to do so.

I said no problem, and after disconnecting I checked the T's & C's which clearly stated I could cancel an order if it has yet to be dispatched, called up, and explained that I wanted to cancel the order, and raise a new one for the new price.

They took my details, a manager called me back, said they would be refunding the £10 to my CC :j :T

I have found with these things, if you keep calm and polite, your far more likely to get a positive result than if you get angry and/or abusive.

    Made my day anyway :D
