Ive just spent £7.99 on Martin's book - money well spent I think :)

Oh pixie1, I'm glad about that - I remember from the beginning of the week that it was one of your goals to save up for it. You could try and get it cheaper though?

Good luck! I'll be thinking of you! What a bonus a nice big salary hike would be!

Spent £3.50 on the M6 Toll
Nae luck as they say in my part of the world! I think I've had it bad if the Forth Road Bridge toll goes up from 80p to £1 (although they are now talking about putting it up to £4!)

    Still in pjs - jeez!

Today has not been a good day so far.

My car was clamped on private land when I was out of the car for 4 mins max, in which time I went into an office to ask where I could leave my car, then returned to it.
The vultures charged me £90 in cash!!!!!

I am soooo angry about it.

Going dancing tonight to releave the stress so thats £3.50.

    £1 to £4 ... jeez!

Stayed with my BH last night in Warwick. Id pay £20 to go on the toll road for an extra 15/20 minutes in bed with her! lol.
  • Nothing as I have a bad back and am confined to bed for the rest of the week.

However OH keeps going out and buying things to cheer me up (so far today: 2 newspapers, 1 pack ibuprofen, carton of soup, bar of chocolate, mini muffins...).

I'm gonna have to return to work soon before I'm broke and the size of a house!

Spend today = £5.23 on tickly cough syrup for OH and drinks for a change from budget OJ.

Not too bad - I didn't need the drinks but I have stayed out of the supermarket - checked the freezer and can do pies from the reduced trolley with lots of veg and spuds :)
