    Hi all,

Thought it's about time I stopped 'Lurking' and plucked up the courage to join in on my favourite topic

I need to get some suncreams for my mum tomorrow - anyone know the best deals on these? - not spotted any tips in the posts so far.

    Thanks in advance!

Hi ecm and welcome to the fun! :D

No7 suncreams are currently on BOGOF. Spend £15 and get a free goody bag too!

    RE- Frosty faced SA's

Had a bad experience today in boots, got the Avene bags with botanics BOGOFS ( See Freebie_junkie eairlier post) got 8 items and 8 bags -
first she said cant get them with wipes as they are not skincare!?!?!?!?!?!?
-I asked her to check and her super said it was ok
Then she said as they were BOGOF I could only have 1 per 2 items!
-Argued till I was blue in the face, no result so i only got 4!
barmy old bag with white hair (manchester market st)

whoever said the bags just scan with anyting were right, I went back and got 2 99p botanics travel wipes and got another bag! then another and another!
Then used the 4 £5 skincare vouchers to get 4 olay wipes @ £4.99 and got a free bag with each of those! - Gave the frosty SA a wave and a yoohoo while paying at another till!

Many Thanks to Freebie_Junkie for pointing this one out!
(anyone else going to market st, pay at the butty counter, they are so much freindlier!)

It's and Avene Orange Bag with 200ml Of Aveene After Sun in it, (rrp £19.99, but the after sun on it's own was on sale for £12.50)
There's a computer-printed poster that says 'Free with any purchase from the following Skincare ranges - Botanics, Skin Kindly, Roc, Avene, Aveeno
(I assumed any purchase meant each item but SA was being a meany on Bogof and said 1 per BOGOF)
the best thing to get was Botanics Travel Wipes 99p x2 (BOGOF) and get the bag free!

She was all worked up and red with rage! don't know why it's not as if it's coming out of her pocket - I work in a shop and the free gifts we give away come free to us from the manufacturer to promote the brand - so it would have cost boots!

I have LOST my ADVANTAGE CARD!!!!!
BUT,i have phoned the advantage card dept., a Franco answered, and he was lovely. He told me the points i have, then he asked me a few questions,i have to wait a max. of 3 weeks, and he told me instead of keeping validated receipts,he said to pick up an application form for a card, but not to fill it in,in it, there is a wee temperary card, keep all the points on that, and once my new one comes back,i phone them back and they link the 2 cards together.
Thank god no one picked it up,got £130 on it.
