My friend and I used a machine after one another. She got an offer that wasn't made available to me, but that I would have liked. Why is that?
The offers made available to you are based on your purchasing history at Boots stores, when you have made purchases using your Advantage Card. We try our best to tailor offers to individuals depending on what they've bought in the past and whether or not we think it will be of interest.

For example, am sure I once had some offer for sanitary protectionor some other product exclusively for women. Always get make-up offers but do get bits and bobs for mom so can understand how that is tailored to my spending.
I'd like to be able to have a "Not interested in this offer - Don't show again" button on the screen, so you could delete all the waffle you'll never go for anyway.
Boots Head Office - are you listening?
BTW - stevenevermind - always remember to try different machines in the same store and also machines in different stores. A machine in a bigger store may have 15 - 20 offers waiting for you. This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0 -

Or that's the plan, if the machines are working this week anyway.
I do it all the time....use the vouchers off other cards to put the points on one card. Never had a problem so far.0 -

I always avoid anyone that has an Eva Braun look/air about her.....and go to either a young lad or girl on the tills.
Now you've got me worried!..........................not!!!:rotfl:

I think Boots are just offloading all the old stock on mSE's before they get new lines in!.
I don't mind though!
Probably have different labels on EI and be 10p a bottle BOGof in a couple of months.
Aren't Boots buying out the Allianz/Moss chain of chemist shops? I read it somewhere.
Probably have all Allianz stuff in Boots at 10p when that goes through.
Has anyone seen any notice of double points or treble points in store?
usually have it this time of year.0 -

Just a few thoughts:
Stevenevermind - on the new card I got the only offer was 100 points on Mark Hill - rubbish - oh and the optician thing, but no other vouchers, think I would just have to use it a bit and build up a history - perhaps using vouchers from another AC card.
Liverbird - I always use vouchers from one Boots in another, mainly cos our little one doesn't have an AC machine, but none of the SAs have ever queried it, and they know that I couldn't have printed them off in their shop.
Pash - have PM'd you - card in post - you can stop panicking now! There are no points on it and the only offer it was showing for AC vouchers was 100 points for Mark Hill.GC Oct £387.69/£400, GC Nov £312.58/£400, GC Dec £111.87/£4000
