wishingonastar wrote:thanks, decided to ring cs, got through, said parcel was damaged, third one in a row, and she said "what? again?" i said the parcel delivery man said it was poorly packaged when it got to them. she said is it the no7 stuff thats damaged, i said no, she said, oh i just assumed as thats the most expensive item. put the phone down, and my very next job is a letter to head office.
just wanted to say thanks to sparky61, for encouraging me to complain regarding damaged parcels, had a lovely reply off boots today, with a giftcard enclosed. so off to boots to top up on ei and other offers, gain points and spend nothing,
thanks again.

Probably best to try a young, male SA...they don't seem to have a clue!0 -
Liverbird wrote:Hi and welcome back to the cold! You haven't been missing a great deal....seems like all the loopholes are gradually getting plugged!
Am I the only one who wonders whether somebody from Boots reads this thread?
Remember, just because you are paranoid doesnt mean they arent watching you.

Okay, bring on the men in white coats. Last night I dreamt I went to Italy(!) to look for a Boots with lots of Bodyform on offer. Having stocked up with it, I hid my stash in an enormous dildo to avoid problems at Customs. I wont tell you where I put the dildo but if it had happened in real life I would be walking very strangely and probably be cross-eyed.
Does this mean that Bootsing is more exciting than sex? Think about it - the tension as you approach the A/C machine, the insertion of the card, the thrill of the EI voucher (before the loophole was closed), the mounting tension as you wait in line at the checkout, the final thrill as the SA takes all 5 of your Lynx vouchers without batting an eyelid.......................hmmmmmmmmm, maybe I should stay away from this thread for a bit.

banana1975 wrote::question: Do any of you out there have problems with getting your total spend points credited to your card.
I am only asking as the two occasions that I have been in Boots this week I have handed over the 75 points for a £10 spend voucher and on both occasions they have not been added but I have only just realised. Should I go back to the store and ask them to add them ??
Also just wanted to mentioned some good points offers.
Tikclyx (sorry about the spelling!) chesty cough - £2.29 with 200 points back
Kool 'n' Soothe - £2.99 with 200 points back
Halls Childrens throat pastilles £2.49 with 200 points back
There were lots more in the same line around the store so this could build up your points - none work out as a freebie but good value all the same.
Also managed to get some reduced TS in Broadmead Bristol - thanks to the picture of old and new!
Back at work after maternity so now can get to Boots at least 3 times a week! My partner has reminded me that I have not just returned to work to fund my Boots habit! LOL
if your points havent been added you need to tell teh SA there and then and she will add them manually but later on you wont be able to do it coz how could you prove that you had teh 75 pounts voucher before you bought teh stuff- sadly thats the way!:T The best things in life are FREE! :T0
