Not surprised it gets so many views. I have to tell you old bootsers, only found this thread mid january and now so addicted have to come and have a look every day!! And everyone's so friendly too. Still boots have had extra sales from me while "buying" the items I've found on here. A huge thanks to all the regulars! :beer:0 -
Just trying out my location update to see if it works and to say thanks to Liverbird for all the hard work you do:grouphug:

Do we know for sure yet if the EI glitch has finished? I have the chance to go tomorrow with sil, but she is such a 'flaffer' that I only want to go if I can get (voucher &) some.

Went to boots today and got another packet of bodyform with a coupon and again on attached to it so thats another free packet to be picked up. Also had 3 x 250 No 7 vouchers from the free purple bags so found the fab sparkly xmas nail polish reduced from £6 to £3 to £1.50 and bought 2. So on them spent £3 and got 500 (£5) in points!! Very pleased!! One more nail polish for me and one for my mums birthday box, she loves it.
That Boots doesnt have an AC machine so didnt buy much more til i see more vouchers.Bringing up 2 handsome boys and 1 gorgeous girl the MSE way!Joseph born 19th December 2001Matthew born 8th August 2007Tara born 23rd January 20110 -
so you dont stand there and take all the vouchers off of the bodyform you have in your basket and hand them over! I dont do it, i get hubby to do it, after all these years im still so embarrassed to acyually purchase them myself.
sending him to boots tomorrow to stock up on more.0 -
Hi All, I too have been frustrated with the lack of vouchers on my card. I am wondering if its anything to do with how long you have had the card?
My dd has had hers for about 3 years and up til recently had about five pounds on it after 3 years of use!
In saying that though, she has great offers on hers and she was the one who had the fabled EI voucher twice.
My friend has also had hers for years and had about £3.00 on it, she only bought things from Boots at christmas, her offers were even better than DD's!
I have had mine for about 3 months and my offers are total rubbish
I have only ever used it to buy the Boots offers I have seen on here plus a few other little bits and only ever get the basic offers and my total spend voucher is always 150 points for a £20 spend etc whereas dd and friends cards give them 75 points on a tenner!
I definitely think its an age thing.....Stopped smoking Jan 2007 after 23 years!Cigarettes NOT smoked = 240,945Smoke free days = 11 Years :TCash saved so far = £125,45,110 -

Actually that might have something to do with it, after all it would make sense that the older you were the more you might spend instore due to higher income or family situationMy younger sister always has better total spend bonus points vouchers than I do

Ragtimeplayer, i have had my card for over 5 years. I remember having to get my name changed on it and ive been married for 5 and a half years now. So i have used it millions of times and with having had a baby since its taken a fair battering, with nappies, wipes, bath stuff, jars of food, formula, bottles, breast pump etc. So i have spent loads whilst using it and i usually get quite good offers. But for a while people were getting 100 points on a meal deal but i only ever got 25 points so i dont know what they criteria for getting certain offers are.
Just now i have over £105 on my card, (a lot due to this thread) and today when the really nice SA in the store i was in served me said, 'oh you have lots of points so i wont say it out loud'!!! Wondered if there had been a spate of muggings for Boots AC cards in Peterhead recently!! lolBringing up 2 handsome boys and 1 gorgeous girl the MSE way!Joseph born 19th December 2001Matthew born 8th August 2007Tara born 23rd January 20110
