Hi.... I am back from sunny Spain into frosty Uk.... and even more depressing the end of EI and TS wonderful offers   now that I managed to get a Boot's card for my daughter    who thought her mum was lovely for getting a card for her!!it was not!!!!
So no wonderful offers.... By the way thanks for the advice about Liverpool airport... the only problem was that I left my card at home...I didn't want to lose it with 98 quid on. But I was good... 2 meal deals, also a little make up n7 for dd2 with the little box of nail polish offer and as I spent a tener I got another 5 pounds voucher and more chocies and validated the points... so I was a good tart.... Even better there was a dorothy perkins and I had my pigsback voucher for 10 pounds so I got myself a nice big handbag :T :T :T
Not bad...
By the waywell done with the nominations... well deserved!!!
Now we need to collate a list of jargon for the newies and not so newies maybe post 2. I thought bham-dave is the best candidate!!! he knows everything. I am still new at this   :j0 -
Katyag wrote:Ragtimeplayer, i have had my card for over 5 years. I remember having to get my name changed on it and ive been married for 5 and a half years now. So i have used it millions of times and with having had a baby since its taken a fair battering, with nappies, wipes, bath stuff, jars of food, formula, bottles, breast pump etc. So i have spent loads whilst using it and i usually get quite good offers. But for a while people were getting 100 points on a meal deal but i only ever got 25 points so i dont know what they criteria for getting certain offers are. "
I have noticed that you have to use a new card quite a bit before the offers start appearing, then if you don't use a 25 extra points meal deal offer then the next month it is 50 and now my husbands card is offering a 100 points one.
The same seems to apply to the extra points on a minimum spend.
If you use the 75 points off £10 the next month you have to spend more to get extra points.
Of course,I could be completely wrong, but I think I may have spotted a pattern!
I didn't get the recent extra points on EI on either card and I have no idea why not .(Mind you the AC machines were all out of order for about 3 weeks at my local Boots,so that didn't help!)0 -
Hard Candy offer isn't working anymore. This was on reduced items at Cribbs Causeway Bristol this morning. Still loads of Bodyfom, managed to get the no7 bag whilst only buying 2 sun care products at £8.50 each = only £8.50 to spend. I did feel bad picking on theyoung girl at the photo counter but the bag is nice!!
I think Cribbs must be clearance store cause there are reams and reams of stuff reduced on gondolas - got cheap bath stuff - am assuming these are store specific tho. They also had TS wax stick redued to 82p, but the chip broke in my card and no offers with my OH's card so didn't bother! No cheap fcuk, no TD hand cream - did get a TD exfolitor with my voucher (first free bit of TD missed the whole vouher thing b4)!

Katyag wrote:Went to boots today and got another packet of bodyform with a coupon and again on attached to it so thats another free packet to be picked up. Also had 3 x 250 No 7 vouchers from the free purple bags so found the fab sparkly xmas nail polish reduced from £6 to £3 to £1.50 and bought 2. So on them spent £3 and got 500 (£5) in points!! Very pleased!! One more nail polish for me and one for my mums birthday box, she loves it.
That Boots doesnt have an AC machine so didnt buy much more til i see more vouchers.
Hi
I had two 250 point vouchers from the freebie bags and used them on the sparkly nail polish aswell but they were only 75p each in Boots at Fosse Park in Leicester (back of the shop) so I got 500 points on a £1.50 spend. I also got two olay products free with 2 skincare vouchers. SA didn't look very happy but I was chuffed!!

mummysaver wrote:Think that if you're a Parenting Club member you will be offered a voucher on the AC machine for triple points, you need to use this the first time you buy Huggies and then the till/AC card remembers you and you will get triple points every time you purchase Huggies in the future without needing a voucher from the machine.
Thanks for that info. I was worried that I hadn't had my voucher back and wouldn't get the triple points anymore.
