My plan is to bump up the total with bodyform, then use the vouchers off the top at tesco off my normal shopping.0 -
dorajar wrote:Hi to all boots tarts. Found this site this weekend and think it is fantastic! Now intend to take full advantage of my card and started in earnest. Bought 8 EI products today and 3 old style lynx deodorants and added 1500 points to my card. Think previously would have taken me all year to "earn" this many points. Also got skin care voucher and am already eating chocs-not so good for diet but yummy!
Thanks for all good advice
Hi Dora....welcome! You should have bought the new Lynx deodorant and got 100pts off each with a coupon from the ACM........well, 3 coupons! Next time eh!0 -
frugalsar wrote:also just tried the TD Microdermabrasion kit - is super skin feels softer after first go!
Do you know what put me off of that. 1) it would have cost me £5 :rotfl: 2) how it gives you a special cream to put on for up to a week after using it.
Now that scared me :rotfl:

Did a little experiment in Boots this morning with the Lynx Click aintiperspirant/deodorant.........100pts with every purchase in the ACM.
I bought 5 @ £2.19, had £10.95 to pay. Cos it went over the £10....the £4 off mens grooming kicked into play. I printed 5 vouchers from the AC machine and handed them over and they all went through in the one transaction.
So £10.95 minus the £4 = 6.95.......minus the 500 extra points = 5 Lynx for £1.95 =39p each!!!

its summin i found out yesterday, heres what i posted this morning:
hi, ive found a brand new offer in manchester market street (maybe in others)
they have eau thermale avene after sun in wash bags rrp £19.99, which are free when you buy from a large selection of skin care products. the best way to do it is with botanics which are also on BOGOF, it is displayed in skin care downstairs near the customer services till
the cheapes botanics is £3.99 for face wash or wet wipes, so if you pick up 6 items, you get them plus 6 avene bags and you are spending £11.97 so you get your £5 skin care voucher
another item you can get a free avene bag with is avene or aderma, so get an aderma bar for £4.05 or an avene face spray for £3.99 plus another bag, (so both free with the £5 voucher!) plus your £3.99 choccies for 99p voucher
the outcome is:
6 x botanics face wash/ wet wipes (rrp £23.94)
7 x avene after sun gift bags (rrp £139.93)
1 x aderma bar/ avene face spray (rrp £4.05/£3.99)
1 x choccies (rrp £3.99)
SO for spending £12.96 you have.....£171.91 worth of stuff!
plus, use a ACM coupon for 75 extra points when you spend £10 and youll also get 122 points on your first transaction, plus teh 3 for buying your choccies! so, £1.25 back too!
plus, i got sachet sampels of: complete skin care moisturiser, nivea young wash, toner and moisturiser, l'oreal sun cream, jose eisenberg wash, lotion and face cream, and eucerin skin lotion. (these can all be found with the actual products).
oooh it gets me all tignly inside! hehe!

Jack's_Dad wrote:What ever you do keep this to yourself, the Sun Gift Set goes through the tills for nothing
If you find a sales assistant whodid not query it then you do not have to buy anything
Just got mine, bought cream (some cheapo stuff) and handed over the cream first then the bag and the assistant just askd for the cost of the cream
I made sure I went to the medicines counter so that it was not too obvious
Hope this helps :j
Add that to your post Freebie Junkie and it looks like another loophole!
Thats providing we are talking about the same set??0
