:o Sorry if I'm being really thick but what is the £2 savers club? Think I've missed a thread somewhere

go into debt free wannabes and there is a thread set up where people join and collect all the two pounds coins they have and put them into a jar and save up for something :T

whether its to spend in boots ;) or pay off your credit cards,,, but it does work, its amazing how quick they all add up :j

Part of the Furniture 1,000 Posts Name Dropper
Did a little Boots shopping this afternoon, couldn't resist(!) Time Delay Face Masks were reduced to £1.50 and as I didn't manage to get much with the leaflets (HONEST) I picked up 4 and took them to the till with my skincare voucher and the SA asked another SA and they both agreed that there was no way I would be able to pay for them with the voucher I just said why don't we try it and see if the till accepts it, well you should have seen her face when it did, I paid the £1.00 on top and told her to get herself over to the clearance section and get some! She was lovely, it's so enjoyable shopping at Boots when the SA's are nice, don't you think?

I wish that these tills would make up their minds. I bought 2 reduced TD body lotions, but my till would NOT accept the voucher.

    So just be careful folks!

I must have missed something!!! Please tell me this is all about.....pretty pretty please! :D

Just seen a few questions as I caught up after tea - so will try and snag them :)

Liverbird - the Avéne gift set, free with selected skincare will apparently scan through the till at £0.00 regardless. Jack's Dad bought a random thing with it so it wasn't too obvious.

I think someone else picked up on this offer and asked about getting lots of bags with no spend - the original poster who got six or seven bags did buy lots of Botanic and some Avéne with the bags and so probably satisfied the terms exactly anyway. Given the above it *might* be possible to get several without any cost but the more you had the quicker they will put in a price and fix this I'd imagine.

I guess if you see the bags and you're in Boots buying something else, just 'buy' it alongside and that's the best of everything :)

does anyone know if the avene thing rrp 19.99 is available on line? as I live in "Hicksville" and the Boots here is rubbish!

I didn't get anything up on a search for it.

Perhaps like the opticians +900 points for an eye test offer it is localised thing that some stores only have put on?

Hi to all boots tarts. Found this site this weekend and think it is fantastic! Now intend to take full advantage of my card and started in earnest. Bought 8 EI products today and 3 old style lynx deodorants and added 1500 points to my card. Think previously would have taken me all year to "earn" this many points. Also got skin care voucher and am already eating chocs-not so good for diet but yummy!
    Thanks for all good advice
