  • I've just got back from Sheffield Meadowhall and I feel like I've been in a rugby scrum!!

The perfume and aftershave box sets have all been reduced and women were grabbing them off the shelves like there lives depended on it!!

I bought a Ralph Lauren Style set for £10 (originally £40) and a Calvin Klein Eternity Moment set for £12. Not sure how many perfume sets will be left as many people were buying 5-10 each, but not many people were going for the aftershave sets, so you could get some bargain Valentines gifts.

Obviously, I paid in 2 transactions with 2 75pts for £10 spend coupons and gained 2 more skincare vouchers! :D
    :j £2 coin savings = £276 (£260 banked) :j

Hi, i think ur doing a wonderful and fantastic job on ur first thread, :T :T but its getting longer and longer, i dont know if im the only 1 to think this, but its a pain to keep reading it all to see what u have changed i just wondered if anyone had any ideas of making the edited notes noticeable.
I feel sorry for the people who work all day
and to say this new thread was started this morning and how long it is after a few hours they have lots and lots of reading to catch up on if they follow this thread like i do.
I really hope u dont mind me mentioning this.
    Thank you once again liverbird :T :T :T :T :T :T :T :T

Just a little suggestion..... how about putting anything new/edited in post NO1 in a different colour and in bold (just like above) .... so that those of us who have read the post before know exactly what Liverbird has added most recently without reading the whole thing again? Maybe also put an explanation on the post for newbies to explain why some things are in a different colour?

Thanks Liverbird for all your hard work btw

I understand that the board guides don't want a structured Boots thread split like the Tesco one, that they have to police, but would there be any reason why I couldn't start one called 'Boots Bargain Chat' for example, on Shop But Don't Drop?

I can see only the positives on shifting our feckless daytime chatter out of the way of the Quick! Grabbit realm :)

  • Apart from Botanics does anybody know the other ranges you can purchase from to get this after sun girt set?

What ever you do keep this to yourself, the Sun Gift Set goes through the tills for nothing

If you find a sales assistant whodid not query it then you do not have to buy anything

Just got mine, bought cream (some cheapo stuff) and handed over the cream first then the bag and the assistant just askd for the cost of the cream

I made sure I went to the medicines counter so that it was not too obvious

    Hope this helps :j

Ellie - it's a cheep 'n' cheerful Boots range of skincare:-

    Fragrance Free (FF)
    and
    Cucumber (CC)

Most of the products in the ranges retail for between £1.25 - £1.50.

Famous amongst more seasoned Boots Tarts because in Autumn 2004 there was a loophole on the AC points whereby Boots paid you £3.75 in points for every product you purchased. Oh happy days! :D

Crikey, they dont seem to learn from their mistakes!:rotfl:

I got "pregnant" last week! I wonder if we'll get free bounty bags in 9 months time?? :D

Okay, I admit it - I am thick. There's obviously a reason y'all are getting pregnant and I guess it is to do with signing up to some Boots Baby club? Am I on the right lines? If so, please can you explain so I too can "gain" ;) , as it were.

So happy I'm writing in rhyme now! I have just put a big box on my bed full of Boots freebies/stuff I was paid to take away. I can sit and look at it and get a warm glow inside.

Was thinking the exact same thing today! Obviously that thread is going to get a lot smaller when the offers run out in a couple of weeks.....basically the bottom half of the thread will not change at all.....just the offers at the top.

Will update first post later tonight. If anybody can think of anything that should be included ...please pm me.

    Megasaver....sent u pm. :D

Good idea......we could always have 2 browsers open to check both threads! :D

Better run it past Redfox first though!
