I'm here! :D Down in London for a couple of days.....Boots I have been to hasn't had anything really exciting though. Thought the ACM would have been better in another city.......wrong!
  • Popped into my local small Boots today just for a mooch and I must admit I looked on every shelf to see if there were any bargains but I was shocked to hear the SA call out the security guards name, who then replied "I'm onto it".MY GOD I realised they were talking about me thinking I was a shoplifter. I obviously have to learn now how not to look shifty when in Boots.Anyone else had this problem or is it just me?

Then decided to spend £10 topping up my phone just so they'd know I had money to spend and the SA was really nice to me then, all smiley as she told me I had a £5 off voucher cos I'd spent £10.I wouldn't care but I only had a tiny little handbag and a tight jumper on so i don't know where they thought I was going to put the stuff.

was this in a book or a boots offer or on the advantage machine??

This was simply label on the shelf. Mind you I went to another branch and they did not have this offer on. I think it will be but not all stores have put their labels on yet. I went to the Greenwich one near the filmworks cinema.

Hope this helps, like I said I go through so much karvol drops with the little one, I took 15 boxes of them. Plenty their for everyone else, sure they got more in the back.

Have led a security guard around a store once or twice myself. It was interesting to see how he was following me around and where he would pop up next. Personally I don't worry about it. I know that I'm not going to take anything. I go in, do what I have to do, make any purchases that I want to and then leave.

  • Had a look at the ACM today and nothing of use at all! Was hoping for an EI voucher but as shopsmile reported the glitch did'nt work, prob a good thing! Did top up a payg so could get a £5 skincare voucher, and after got receipt the till brought up failed, so SA had to give a refund, and she forgot to ask for the skincare voucher back - woo hoo! :grinheart
Had a wander round shop and then went to try again to top up and this time ok and got another voucher - so - two £5 skincare vouchers for a £10 top up!! :grinheart :grinheart

I popped into my local Boots this morning, and was glad to see one of my favourite SA's on the till. The security guard said hello to me as usual when I walked past him :p

Didn't get much today, but managed to grab a few of the Trevor Sorbie mg reduced miniatures and some more Bodyform (complete with vouchers of course). Handed over the 100 points TS voucher at the till, fave SA said 'I'm not supposed to use this with miniatures, but as it's you I'll see if it will scan.' £1.14 spent on TS products, got 300 points back! Plus free Bodyform, so left shop a happy frog :)
  • just a silly question but can anyone tell me if you spend over £10 on mens mini items if this is included in the "get £4 off" offer or is it just full sizes ???

I bought a load of fcuk mini's reduced this morning (no voucher in machine though :( but makes good gifts) and i noticed that nothing was deducted.

OH will have a fit if i have to go back to boots..he thinks i am totally obsessed with boots as it is ..lol

    Hi
For those who missed out on the no7 make up kit there is another offer on line for their summer collection ,
The make up organiser is reduced to £9.99 here plus you can get the free no.7 gift if you spend over £15 and 500 points if you spend over £25.
There are other items like the no7 summer nail varnishes and also skin treats set. The prices show at full price until you click on them - then a discount of 33.33% shows. Here is them all.
Good offer if you combine it with the free gift and points- and mothers day is soon !
