You could always send DD to school dinners just a couple of days.
My DS did a mixture of school lunches, home dinners & packed lunches.

Their school won't let them do this unfortunately:( They're quite happy for them to swap between packed lunches and dinners on a week-by-week basis, but they have to pay for a whole week of dinners in one go. Going to see how this week goes and take it from there.

So, we have a poorly house. DD2 been poorly last week, DS is under the weather (not helped by teething) and OH now has some kind of sick bug which means he's had to phone in sick to work and has been throwing up all morning. Petrified the rest of us will get it, especially baby, and more worried because OH ate chicken last night:eek: Unfortunately I can't separate OH from baby or the rest of us so will have to grin and bear it, lots of bleaching, antibacterial spray and soap and hand washing should hopefully confine it to OH (and help him get better soon.)

Tax Credits updated with new baby, have filled in the Child Benefit form online and printed it off, need to get an envelope and post it today, have stamps stashed away somewhere. November's SOA is based on our 3-child claim so any extra we get backdated should help fill the shortfall from October plus mean a little extra for where we need it (maybe school dinners, may make up shortfall in OH's wages from his paternity leave although we were quite stingy with shopping which usually comes out of his wages so the damage isn't too bad.)

Don't think will get much else done today tbh so not going to set myself up to fail! Will be happy if I can get the CB form posted and some dinner made!

Pretty knackered, just waiting for baby to wake up for his late "evening" feed (ah for the want of a routine!) then will be off to bed.

Didn't get the CB form posted, coping with a houseful of ill people unsurprisingly seemed to take up most of the day! It's ready to be popped in an envelope though and posted so hopefully can use that as an excuse to go out for a walk and get some fresh air tomorrow.

Just been trying to unscramble my SOA and current account to clarify exactly what the overspend was from last month but my brain has about given up for the day LOL:D Should get that done tomorrow fingers crossed.

Pinky - spare money always worries me if I don't know what it's for or where it's from!

Money stuff is needing catching up on. Last week was not good, OH ended up in hospital for three days and DS was quite poorly so needless to say not much got done and I was/am knackered!

I'm only setting myself little targets here and there as I seem to spend most of my time sat on the sofa feeding baby and not doing much else! It has been oddly productive in that all the late nights have meant we've really been able to make use of the Economy 7 as I seem to get a fair bit done late evening/nighttime when baby falls asleep!

    So today:
    • print out SOA (been done for a while but need to tweak a little) - will do when have put baby down
    • [STRIKE]envelope and post Child Benefit form[/STRIKE]
    • go through pile of bills to deal with and put in box file ready to file away - said pile of papers sat on floor in front of me taunting me whilst I feed baby!
    • [STRIKE]check online banking[/STRIKE]
    • [STRIKE] check Virgin cc online[/STRIKE]
    • search for red school tights for DD2

Inset day today so got a house full!

Ebayed some maternity clothes which finished last night. At last check had made £15 with a couple still to go. Not as much as I'd hoped for things I bought new - I started everything at 99p so when I put the rest on this week I might put a higher starting price. Need to go and buy envelopes later to post tomorrow.

Hoping to do a little home baking with the kids later to avoid doing top up shop for snacks.

Have two single beds to put together for DDs, bought from Ikea yesterday, £39 each. Transferred money from savings which should clear on Wednesday.

Awaiting news on Child Benefit for baby, can't remember how long it takes to come through?

Think my c benefit took 3 weeks - I supposed it depends on how many people are waiting for it.
You sound busy as always - hows it going with 4 little ones? x
