Thanks:D Things still need to get done although bit of a sore point tbh as had hoped for more of a hand from OH but won't go into that now.

Still working on the list and hoping to have it finished before OH goes back to work on Wednesday. Just going to get coat washed in a min.

Need to work on November's SOA, also need a name for baby as can't get birth certificate or apply for Child Benefit or Tax Credits without a name!:o

Still working on earlier list. Isn't looking likely that clothes will get ebayed unless I can get round to ironing them and without a camera I won't get very far!

Coat nearly done, just need to sew button on now - trying to look after the clothes I've got, investing time in them and looking after which I can be a bit slack about sometimes:o

Have been avoiding making a list of things we need for the house because the list in my head is HUGE:cool: It seems to be new catalogue time round here and I keep seeing loads of stuff I like, plus there's a fair few things we need for the house and have needed for a while but I refuse to buy brand new. So could be a very long list - but might be handy for when family/friends inevitably ask what we want for Christmas.

Won't find out if OH's friend wants the spare fridge freezer until he goes back to work on Wednesday so that will have to wait.

Need to do weekly shop which OH thinks I'll need to pay for, need to do a few sums first before I go spending anything as next month's money has started to come in; need to work out what I have left for this month and what's accounted for for next month. Might start it now actually and book a good slot.

OH's first day back at work:eek: Managed the morning okay though thinking will have to get up earlier than 7.30am to allow for baby, obviously he's too young to be in a routine yet so when he wants feeding in the morning will depend on when he fed in the night - hoping to tweak things eventually so can feed him right before I have to get up.

Managed to tidy living room - shame kitchen is a tip! Didn't have high hopes for getting much done tbh anyway!

Spent £70 on weekly shop which was delivered this morning. Is a good £5/£10 more than usual but agreed we'd buy a few more ready-made things like pizzas and stocked up on nappies and wipes - love having a full fridge and cupboards:) Don't expect to make much this week although OH has been good at whipping up tea most days.

Think am going to splash out on a cheap digital camera to replace my old one as in need of one - need to count up how many pennies have left for the rest of the month beforehand though.

  • Well done on day 1 Jo! How is the feeding going? Did he get the hang of it in the end?

Yup KP baby is feeding fine now:) Such a relief I can tell you!

Okay, lots to go through so will be brief (me?!)

SOA about done for November (a little early which is unusual!) Overspent slightly for October which was expected but can easily balance things out. DDs wanted to try school dinners so have relented for a week but not sure can afford it every week so will see how that goes.

Both fridge freezers knackered - the fridges on both keep freezing things which is rather annoying so contemplating a secondhand one from Ad Mag or ebay, will see how we go.

Finally registered baby so can sort out claiming Child Benefit and Tax Credits - can ring up TCs in a mo actually.

The phone bill is creeping up and up each month - just got latest one and it's 49.61 for the month:eek: Need to curb that or look into changing to a better call plan (with BT.)

Watching bunk beds on ebay, have finally decided have to take the plunge and sort out DDs' beds, they've been sleeping as they are on mattresses for far too long - even though they're quite happy?! Kids eh?

May transfer an amount from savings to buy a new camera which we haven't done yet. Need to ebay maternity clothes still, and start thinking about selling the old car which is sat on the back.

  • Good to hear baby has got a name and the hang of feeding properly :)

My kids still on materesses in the flat as not got around to moving the bunkbeds frame yet. Also need to find a third bed as now they wont share .

Im so impressed with your budgetting skills I just cant seem to get to grips with things at the moment.

    Have a good weekend

You could always send DD to school dinners just a couple of days.
My DS did a mixture of school lunches, home dinners & packed lunches.
