i wouldnt mind.......but they wont even point me in the right direction to download the driver

gericoms webiste doesnt mean anything to me!!!!

Finding drivers for this beasty is a bit tricky - gericom only have drivers for older laptops on their site.

How about these 83.60 beta ones release by Dell in the last couple of days, they say the are specifically for the "go" range:

You probably want to install all the latest patches from microsoft first, like someone else suggested.

downloaded updates service pack 2 etc

downloaded driver (thanks lorian)....driver is compatable

everything ok for a few hours

then crash....blue screen again

last time it was:

first time it also had a 2nd line.......this time just the one

any ideas?

is the graphics card just no good?

Just try this for a mo..

1. Click Start, point to Settings, and then click Control Panel.
2. Double-click Display.
3. On the Settings tab, click Advanced.
4. Click the Troubleshoot tab.
5. Move the Hardware Acceleration slider two notches to the left of Full (the Disable all cursor and advanced drawing accelerations setting).
6. Click OK, and then click OK again.

isb there anyway i can check the "stability" of the computer.........or do i just use it and see how it goes?

Well you could Burn an ISO file of http://www.ultimatebootcd.com/ and run
a load of diagnostic tests from that.. you woul need a CD Burner and software
to burn a bootable ISO image so that the PC Boots off the CD, Nero will do.

Test the stability of your RAM using Memtest.

Test the stability of your cpu using Prime 95 and SuperPI.

Test the stability of your graphics subsystem using one of FutureMarks benchmarks, i.e. 3DMark 2001, 03, 05 or 06.

All the above are free to download. Just Google for them.
