I would like to apologise for my disgraceful behaviour earlier. It was not necessary and if I have offended anyone please accept my apologies, I will in future behave as is expected on a public forum.

Proliant, I know you're genuine and apologise for suggesting otherwise. You give immense help and I appreciate it, you've even helped me so I have no right to call you names and I apologise.

same here I started at £400, then up to £750 and now £1,250, I always paid when my salary went through even though it was three weeks before the payment was due - maybe early payments are the secret

well done on the £2,000 limit :T

I'm livid that I have to go sub prime..... It is through no fault of my own!!! I had some identity theft which destroyed my credit file although all bad info has been removed

Have you tried citi? They seem to be ok at giving cards - maybe cos of the cash injection they just got! I got one last month with £2k limit. Very surprised when it dropped on the doormat! Ooops, just realised they sent it but I never signed a CCA... I won't go there haha! Already spent £700 on it in a month (but I do have the cash in bank to pay it back) so if I do it every month i'm hoping they will give a "proper" increase in a year or whenever they give them.....

seems weird that someone with a Vanquis has the same limit as my non sub-prime card! I'd hate to owe £2k on Vanquis though - must cost loads on interest each month? Anyone got any experience of high interest for a maxed out card...?
