I know they deffo rung my mobile as I remember having to walk into my office to talk to them as i didn't want the whole world and his wife to know my buisness.........

i'm insinuating that vanquis simply do not ring mobiles, usually. You're the only person on this site in all the threads i've read that say they rung your mobile! Ring customer services 2mw when they open and ask them if they will ring you back on your mobile and see what they say!

They don't have access to ring mobiles, apparently! But this could be a security feature or something, tmaybe they do a 192 search or something? who knows....

Now that makes sense..... they may then ring your mobile but again, they told me (and other forum users) that they cant ring mobiles...... who knows how true it is.:T

I sent cheque in to clear balance and it took 9 days to clear and when i asked them to call me to confirm when it cleared (after like 4 days), they wouldnt ring mobile even though I was at work. they offered to ring my work number, i said no thanks!

I have no reason to lie, this is a site designed to help other people and advise them of how you have been dealt with....... Buy me saying they called my mobile it give me no benifit!!

I do not like people trying to say that I am liar and in future would only like intelligant input.......

If you don't like it then don't react but trust me, Vanquis will not ring your mobile with your welcome call. Name calling will not win you many friends, discussions are an integral part of any thread and as such you ought to realise that people will challenge you and not to take it personally.

It is strange that Vanquis rung your mobile, i've never once called you a liar - you did, I never! I simply queried your facts, that is all. Normally we call this a discussion thread, however you've just made it into a mockery. :T

I wasn't aware that you were some Vanquis expert, worked for Vanquis, managed one of there calls centres or have had numerous calls from them.

The fact is that on this one mate you are wrong and I am right.

If they did not call my mobile I would not have said they did.

I am never at home between office hours therefore I am uncontactable on the landline, only my partner uses it so that is that.

I made it explicitly clear to Vanquis in my cover letter sent with my ID to call my mobile.
