EON offer £10 instead of correct bill

I am saying I dont understand why they are asking for so much money from me. I dont know what their final reading was (or what they estimated) but since writing to them again today, I have received this reply from them

I have checked our records and your outstanding balance is correct.

Your balance has continued to grow since your first statement.

To show that the charges are correct, I have sent a letter containing a copy of all the bills and a single simplified statement to show all the charges and payments on your account from the start to the closing reads.

Please look over this document and contact us as soon as possible to discuss payment.

NPower have my correct reading to start billing me correctly. It will be interesting to see how eon have estimated my final bill.

I will take a meter reading, as you suggest; thats a good idea! thank you again
