I think you misread my post.
You said we are the brighter species. I was just trying to highlight the fact that it's the dog that's got you picking up it's poo.
I think you missed the irony of my post.
actually again im afraid i have to disagree as would anyone brighter than their dog.
its not the dog that has me pickin up its poop, its the law. duh0 -

OK. Irony and a sense of humour seems to have bypassed you today.
I think you're taking it all too personally.
My posted was intended with a bit of tongue in cheek. I'm not suggesting we aren't superior to other animals including dogs, only that perhaps you underestimate their intelligence.
I guess I'm not that bright that I thought everyone would understand that.

maybe you should get your dog to read my posts as the little thing would probably understand them and reply better.

As for the two dogs which attacked the infant - I wonder if it was a jealousy issue - suddenly this living breathing noisy being is in their home and (possibly) they are demoted by one position each in the "pack hierarchy". .
Totally agree with that point. It comes fom people forgetting that a dog is not a baby to be pampered and spoilt. It is an animal and should be treated as such, with love, kindness and compassion, but still as an animal.
My cousin was ripped from his crib as a new baby and had his face torn apart. This was because before he was born his mum was devoted to her rough collie dog ( lassie type). It was spoilt rotten and was jealous of the interloper and attacked.
Luckily he survived but has lived with the scars all his life"Beauty is in the eye of the beholder and it may be necessary from time to time to give a stupid or misinformed beholder a black eye" - Miss Piggy0 -
We have a Jack Russell and he is the softest dog ever , however ............he is really my DD's dog we looked after him when she had her dd 3 years ago , but when she came home with the baby the dog ,although he didnt do anything , just seemed edgy and looked at the baby strangely , so he never went back home , and we made sure he was never left alone with the baby even tho we all work together and spend most of our time together . Three years on he is fine , my DD has had another baby and the dog is quite happy being in the same room with them , we would never leave them alone with the dog and quickly remove the baby ( now one ) when he attempts to drag the dog by his tail lol.
You really cant trust any dog with a child ( or child with a dog for that matter )0 -

My dog died last year, but I'm not ashamed to admit he was brighter than me. And better looking.
I don't remember saying your dog had been out of control.
For someone who claims to be so intelligent your posts really don't do you any favours.
Enjoy your poo.
