how's it tempting? When RBS fall to 10 pence would you be even more tempted? Or what about 0 pence?

It's all a gamble - it could go either way, but at the moment, it's slipping a little but not too drastically. I've bought shares at 20p - I've set my stop loss at 50% of the original value.

I'm hoping RBS can weather the storm and see long term improvements. I do expect share prices to continue to fall, especially over the next week when RBS will release its results.

That's why it's speculating. I spend £3 a week on the lottery, most weeks I lose the lot , so far I must be £500 down. What's a life without risk lol

Down yesterday and up today, I wonder what tomorrow will bring ;)
  • So what happens to shares that been purchased if the RBS were to be nationalised?
  • total loss most likely
  • No I set up an automatic buy in at 50p but bottled it yesterday and cancelled it .

Lose the lot. Could well happen but for now no news is good news. Share price is bouncing along nicely. I'm holding onto my shares for now and have my sell price set, may buy further shares if I see some positive news regarding RBS.
