  • Hi Poppycat

Glad it's mended! Bodes well for mine on Monday! Will be angling for a freebie too!
  • Have to agree 100% with everyone - DYSON DIRECT service is second to none and is an absolute validation of your decision to buy a Dyson in the first place!
As an engineer I usually prefer to dismantle and fix things myself. In my case the brush motor had failed on my DC15 or so I thought. For £65 the engineer came out from Dyson and replaced motor, loom, brushes and corroded screws. He also applied all service modifications to date. If any of these fail within 1 year then there is NO CHARGE next time. If ANYTHING ELSE fails within 1 year then the charge to fix is just £25. A fantastic service!! Don't hesitate! :money:
:) I'd rather be skiing in Tuscany! :)
