Its not my fault if you lack the knowledge and skills to know of the existance of Cash fund unit trusts that you can invest in from within stocks and shares ISA

Oh I know of the existence of cash unit trusts all right; however I also know ( as apparently you do not ) that they may not be held in a stocks and shares ISA, only in a mini cash ISA
And your CHARGING for advice !

    Err, no, I'm not actually.

Perhaps your clients better double check with the 'free' advice :D

    Theyll be well advised to!

Deemy , I think you will find the Aberdeen Cash Inc fund to which you draw our attention to is not available via ISA or Pep .

Now I hope youll be good enough to apologise to Cheerfulcat in the the same way you were good enough to post your free "advice".

As has been mentioned before , its not the cost of the advice its the quality of the advice that is important.

    be nice!

    Hello, lipidicman,

I'm sorry, but someone has to say it. Certain posters post more than their fair share of misleading nonsense. I am trying very hard to be nice about it but when someone seems to be taking that nonsense seriously surely it's only fair to warn them?

    Regards

I could find you perhaps a dozen more, if you are unable to find any ?

Cheerfulcat, it would help if you knew what you were talking about, clearly you don't understand shares isa's properly, it is not nonsense that cash funds can be bought and held in shares ISA's

I refer you to following link which I hope you will take as an learning experience :)

Deemy, all that proves is that the fund has an ISA wrapper available - if you actually bothered to investigate you would find that it is a mini cash ISA wrapper.

Here's a link to the rules, since you won't believe me. HMRC say your S&S component may invest in

" units or shares in UK authorised unit trusts or open ended investment companies (OEICs) which invest in shares and securities (called securities schemes and warrant schemes) and fund of funds schemes which invest in them "

You will not find a broker prepared to sell you that or any other cash unit trust in a stocks and shares ISA.

By the way, Deemy; I'm not an IFA.

Sorry Deemy I do apologise, I thought the fact you had highlighted the Aberdeen fund for other posters that was the fund to which you were refering.

Now I think its about time you took a few deep breaths before you make an even bigger fool of yourself.

ps . see your spell checker still isnt working!

No, but you are setting yourself up as an expert, which you clearly are not. You are also being pretty abusive to those who attempt to put right the mess you create.
