Please don't give up posting. I, and I'm sure many others, do value your input. Personally I came to this site looking for help on various things and I have certainly found many willing to do that.
A healthy debate is good but I don't think it should get abusive.0 -

In making this post I may have been a little hasty in posting this remark.
Although I did recieve a PM, having re read it again and had a further PM from the OP I perhaps took it out of context.
I therefore apologise to the poster who PMd me as my post was not very helpful either0 -

In case people hadn't realised it was me who PM'd Whiteflag (as I had previosuly said I wouldn't post on the thread again regarding cash within a S&S ISA).
I think we may have been talking at cross purposes early on and things probably went downhill from there.
I would also like to say that I don't think it is important to agree but it is important to try and understand others posts and would like to apologise to Cheerfulcat and Whiteflag for any misunderstandings my posts / PM's may have caused

Oh, well done whiteflag and cloud_dog - how nice to see such civilised, gentlemanly behaviour. For my own part I too apologise for any confusion I may have caused.

Yay, everybody loves one another again... at least until the next thread

Just caught up - wow! And they said the Middle East peace process would be difficult.
Pleased to see calm and reasonableness have finally (but let's hope it lasts) prevailed. But beware, we still haven't heard from Deemy!!0 -
Maybe the UN has secretly sent Deemy as its special adviser to the Middle East to smooth relations between the parties & prepare the ground for peace in 2006

As the one who started it all I'd like to thank everyone for their contributions to this thread, though a lot of the aggravation did seem to be stirred up by one particular party, so I'll skip through stuff from men hiding behind shades in future. Underneath the crossfire there's been some useful information being exchanged and I've learnt quite a lot, so thanks again.0
