Heinz: I've tried to send a PM to you but your inbox is full. I have a question that I would like to ask, please.0

Has anyone got a USB modem that they know works with Win10 and the Orchid box? I had an old XP laptop with internal modem that has worked for years, but that's now died permanently.
Belatedly spotted your query davidm_uk.
I've been using a Zoom 3095 USB mini modem to program the Orchid Dialler with windows 10 and it works fine on 32 or 64 bit versions, with official drivers on Zoom's support section.0 -
Heinz: I've tried to send a PM to you but your inbox is full. I have a question that I would like to ask, please.Time has moved on (much quicker than it used to - or so it seems at my age) and my previous advice on residential telephony has been or is now gradually being overtaken by changes in the retail market. Hence, I have now deleted links to my previous 'pearls of wisdom'. I sincerely hope they helped save some of you money.0

Can you also email me a copy of the last version of the V4 dialler spreadsheet as the zippyshare/MSE links dont work (as previously noted).
I plan to reprogram my V4 dialler just to divert UK mobile and international via 18185 as I would suspect most of the other programming is now out of date. All other calls (01,02,03 and 0870/0845 numbers) will be handled by Plusnet Business call plan (UK Anytime) and also I'll bock the premium rate numbers - unless anyone can suggest a more cost effective methodology.
If you can PM me I'll send you my email address.
Thanks for all the help you and Kevin have given us V4 dialler users over the years
Best wishes

Hi I just need to program mine to block all outgoing calls except freephone for my mother who now is going to use her mobile minutes during the weekdays instead. She is bound to forget , use the landline and be charged a very high call rate. Would someone PM me please with a link to the last V4 dialler spreadsheet. Many thanks0

Anyone out there still using their Orchid Dialler box?
I've just bought a trueCall call blocker and am trying to get it to play with the Orchid. In the process I've pulled together a few documents etc about the Orchid (from the web and old archives of mine) so if anyone is looking for info I may be able to help. I could do with a copy of the installation instructions for the Orchid if anyone has them?0 -
@ davidm_uk
I am still using the Orchid
I'm using a CPR Call Blocker and all I did was plug it in. The two work happily together.
As for manuals ... I've got this, but not looked at it for years ...

I've also not touched the Orchid in any way for years.0 -
@Ferilizer - thanks.
My trueCall wouldn't even make the first "registration" call home (to trueCall's server) when I plugged it into the Orchid. I had: incoming line....Orchid....trueCall.....phone base station. The Orchid was not passing the outgoing call from the trueCall.
I'm going to try swapping the two boxes to see if that works, but I've currently got the Orchid plumbed in and hidden away, so there's a bit of work to do to reorganise things.
I have that document you mentioned, and also got the latest (I think) Auto_Routing_Table_v1_9.xls file if anyone needs it.0 -

I'm still using an Orchid V4 box too. However, I found mine loses many minutes over a period of time, and so I manually reset the time every couple of months using one of Heinz's useful posts on here (quite apart, of course, from the winter/summer time changes as well).0
