gnb aww so sorry to hear about dd missing her disco. but i guess she'll be too tired anyways. hope she recovers swiftly so she can finally have her op!
  • Well I did NOTHING off the list afterall! However, I have hardly been sat on my bum doing nothing.:A

    Mostly pottering and fiddling about:

    Ironed one shirt
Sorted through a box of camping equipment to find gear for weekend away (next week) and packed a bag,
    Made pizzas for dinner
Updated budget spreadsheet (still got no money)
    Did next weeks meal plan
    Shopping list for tomorrow
Washed a new set of sheets for spare bedroom
    Emptied dishwasher
    Swept leaves out of garage

and now it's bedtime *yawns*, I have no idea where this week has gone and I really don't seem to be achieving much compared to last week.

    Goodnight!

    Morning everyone.

Plans for today was to go to the library then go see mum. Its snowing quite heavily here though so might have to adjust my plans. Will go see mum though as she looks forward to visits and I hate to miss.

Willl look at list later when I come back.

mOZzy I am a volunteer meeter and greeter at the local hospital. I direct people to clnics and wards and sometimes escort them and other bits and pieces as well. I love doing it and just seeing the relief on someones face that I can help means a lot.

pigpen I love the photo they are so cute.

GreenandThrifty Good luck for your job interview.

LadyL Am thinking of you and sending positive calming vibes. Just think of all us flyladies holding your hands and thinking of you.

embb Hugs for you and the LO.

Triker Happy Birthday to your DD. :bdaycake:
  • Hardly got anything done so far. Have emptied dw, folded up clean washing, typed letter for DH, made DH 3 :coffee: and 1 for myself. Need to finish quick tidyup downstairs before work at 11.30.
Had great plans for this morning, but can't get motivated - more fun reading the thread! Anyway off to do a HHC - luckily house is cold so need to move to warm up:cool:

I really hope she recovers and gets the strength to keep any other infections at bay. I take my hat off to you GnB. You never moan, you just get on with it all. I think you are a fantastic Mum and you make me realise that I really shouldn't whinge on about, what is really, piffling stuff compared to what you deal with daily. xx

  • Morning everyone.

The last few weeks have been so busy I've not had chance to keep up with everyone and I've been good and been trying to fly before reading the thread.

Missed yesterday's flying completely as we were at toddler gymnastics with DD2 then helping my mum clear my Grandad's house. Then we had the school disco, mum over for tea and was working after that! Double jobs for me today.

HHC at 11am. Anyone else joining me?
