Awwwww thanks everyone for the hugs and stuff, lol @ G&B re: she'll go smelly :D I'm going to give her a rub to see if she comes round, but if she has staring eyes when I pick her up I'll know she's proper gonna :( she's all curled up so can't see her.....Off I go....

Scrubbed my sink and hob using JML spotless - is amazing stuff
Stripped LO's bedding and washed it
    Did some ironing

I am even more proud (and Jealous) of you all than I was before!!

I hardly have time for housework and getting myself organised and I only have one!!! And he is 7, so not even so little anymore!!

I thought the D was for Darling, but I guess it would depend on the mood your in - he is not always my Darling Son!!! lol

Good luck with the hamster btw. I dont know anything about animals but my brother kept hamsters when we were kids and I remember that happened to one of his. We sat the cage in front of the fire and he was running around like no-one business half an hour later!!

aw embb hugs and er - yes perfectly normal to weep - remember me sobbing at the vets in the summer over my son's dead gerbil - and later when DDs went to the great gerbilarium in the sky?...
but it's part of life's rich tapestry and the cycle of life - we love them and we weep when we lose them - your DD is learning one of life's less pleasant lessons...

I've wrapped her up in an old clean tea towel.....will wait till littley comes in then do something, what do I do with her? I would bury her but it's thick of snow and I can't bear to put her anywhere cold cause she'll be cold lol I need 'get a grip tablets' don't I..

K, I need to sort myself out cause I'm back at work soon lol

    Thanks guys x

ETA: Good Luck for the interview G&T, you'll be fab x
  • A bit late back as we've eaten lunch too, but here's HHC results

    DD2's room
    hoovered
    wiped paintwork
    changed bedding
    tidied toys and clothes away

    DD1's room
    hoovered
    wiped paintwork
    stripped bed

    My room
    Hoovered

Not bad going. More to do when DD2 goes to bed. Maybe do another HHC at 12.45.

    You did well too GnB!

    Afternoon

One load of washing out on the line, sulking.

Bathroom and toilet thoroughly cleaned. I've done everything as far as I can tell.

Also had to dust upstairs again and re-vacuum back bedroom after last door was fitted last night. I'm sure the dust was resettling as I went even though I used a damp cloth too.

I'm doing lots of cleaning but I'm finding it very hard to carry on, it never feels like I've done anything and nobody notices what I do. I used to do it for myself but I'm not sure I care any more.
