Short list for me today, I vacuumed and tidied the floor in the boys' room yesterday when I did ours. Also have to take DS2 to pre-school which splits the day up a lot (it's a very long walk up a very big hill!) DS2 is having a potty training relapse at the moment after months of being dry, which is apparently quite common but is stressing me out no end so will have to get to pre-school early and have a chat with them about it, on Monday I gave in and put a pull-up on him but I think I will just ask them to take him every half hour and keep reminding him to go.

    Wash boys' bedding
    Remake beds
    Tidy the big shelf
    Clean windowsill
    Wipe all upstairs paintwork
    Tidy DS2's drawers
    Vacuum LR
    Wash up

soappie - thanks for the traffic info! I do listen to the radio in the mornings, but as I'm rushing around the house I tend to find I miss most of the useful stuff! Hope you get to work and back safely.

WM on cleaning cycle with cleaning cloths and mop head in it :D
DW emptied and on cleaning cycle

Just need to pack gym kit & lunch (it's all made), and get the cakes into the car and then I can shower and dress... and apparently I have to wear pink

I'm really pleased that the kitchen was so easy to clear up after last night's cooking. Because the surfaces are relatively clear most of the time and I've got into the habit of clearing up after myself, it's actually not too messy and sticky this morning!

Traffic news... M4 not looking good... and an accident in Bray... but hopefully they'll be cleared by the time I get going!

  • Good morning - children off to school (at last :o:p:D ). Got loads done yesterday, so want to keep up the momentum today :j

It's DD 15yo's school Leavers' Dinner Dance tonight, so there's high excitement here. Hairdresser coming at 4pm, then my friend (whose DD is my DD's best friend :A ) is coming here to do thier make-up. Limo arrives at 6pm :T Then I can relax before choir (if this sore throat subsides :o )

    HHF at 8:45 - 9:15 anyone

She is a bit better, sounds like she smokes 60 a day though. Was going to take her to school today as she was looking better yesterday but she is ill again this morning. There were tears when i said she wasnt going to school as its her school disco tonight:o
Her op has been postponed again as the wont anaesthetise her so soon after a chest infection. Should know later when they want to do it.
