Just seen your weightloss since beginning of Jan Rach - that's some going - well done :T :j - are you doing it on your own or have you joined a slimming club?

    Hope you're feeling better

Thanks. Am following weightwatchers points but not going to the meetings. DH has been dieting too so hasn't been too hard at home! Have come to a bit of a full stop after a couple of big meals at the weekend but it should come off again as i'm back to it now!

Can't finish kitchen til WM is finished (it vibrates like a aeroplane taking off), will put the rest of my uni stuff in files later, and sort out stuff for packing.
Thinking about polishing off the banana bread I made the other day, and making some gingerbread cake. Mmmmmmmmm... But this will also have to wait til the WM is done. Hmph.

  • Thanks. The info I found suggested you needed the vac bit to stop the mattress getting damp.
Found this one on amazon. (if it works) Now that price I could consider.
Very good deal. When you do your matresses, just make sure you give them half an hour to air (does'nt really need this long, but better to air on the side of caution)

  • My new modem came from my IP provider, plugged in, got online but still can't get onto my OU Lyceum (need it for my Spanish course as most of my tutorials and my exam are online ). I'm stumped now - my BIL will have to come round and try to get the blasted thing up and running - if not, most of the £410 course fee will be a waste and i'll be at a distinct disadvantage - i'm so frustrated, I could cry :confused:

Have you tried phoning the computing help desk they are really good and will talk you throught it step by step. The number should be under contact us in student hom page.

I seem to have started something
Just been checking for on-line reviews. Seem mixed. Suppose you get what you pay for. The general view seems to be that it is not really suitable for large jobs like carpets. On the other hand it is light enough for me to be able to lift which is also a consideration.
For what it is worth I have been happy with the quality of things I have bought from Lidl in the past.

Have now managed to put another box and a perch stool in the shed out of my way so making some headway and the washing is almost dry - its been really sunny here!
