I reckon ours has been doing it for a while:rolleyes: The hot water inlet hose that's connected to the main water pipe, looks as though it's been leaking down on to the cold inlet hose, which has corroded it and made that start to leak as well.:eek:
I only noticed it as I went to unload the machine and could hear water still running:mad:
Still the plus side is, that now the top and sides of the washing machine are very clean and the floor where it sits is soon to be very clean too!!:rolleyes:0 -

Will pop out to homebase in a bit. Also need to pop to the carpet shop for ideas for the babys room. Will get the new argos book & pop to the pet shop for cat food.
Anyone reading this who is thinking about embarking on flylady but still feeling overwhelmed. Don't. It really does work. My house is testament to this. It's reasonably tidy. I don;t dread the door knocking & am not thinking "arrggg, look at the mess" if anyone needs to come in.
When I started I generally could only manage level 1 & maybe level 2.
Once you've been at it a few weeks, your hard work is paying off. When I 1st tackled my bedroom, it took me most of the day. Today it didn;t take long at all.

Plus side of doing stupid things is that it has spurred me on in the flying department to stop thinking about it, so here's what I've done:
put gammon and coke in slow cooker
made potato bake and in fridge
peel veg for tea
drank upteen cups of coffee!
washed upvc bay window
cleaned bay windows
washed all the ornaments
even windolened tv screen - how does it get so black?
windowlened glass on pictures
cleaned mirror
pulled every bit of furniture out and washed floor - laminate
took up very large rug and cleaned under there too
washed skirting boards
washed door and frame
washed radiators
hoovered everywhere downstairs like a demented nutter
done 2 loads of washing and drying
filled charity bag with about 40 things (had to use a binbag aswell) and now outside door waiting to be collected
washed laminate in hallway
cleaned hallway window
washed hallway skirting boards
washed hallway doors
hoovered stairs and landing
washed all paintwork up stairs and landing
washed radiator on landing
s/s kitchen
bleached dishcloth
collected dirty glasses from dd1 bedroom and put in dw
started dw
cleaned kitchen bin inside and out
hoovered both sofas
plumped and reshaped cushions
threw dying flowers away and washed vase BY HAND!
Am sure I've missed somethings, but am totally kna56kered!!
dd1 sat waiting for laqptop, so will have to post anything else I remember later xTo love and be loved is the greatest happiness of existance - Sydney Smith0 -
