Hi Everyone
Thanks for the hugs and thoughts, I hardly slept Thurs night and felt terrible all day o Firday. I don't do superstition as a rule as was not bothered by the date but I couldn't help the feeling I had all day yesterday and didn't feel that well either. Work was very quiet so dragged along. Picked A & W up from the adoptive GP's who had cooked a meal for me, I managed to eat most of it but TBH I was not bothered about eating felt rude to shun it though.
Had a better night last night and took Miss A to her swimming lesson this morning. Just feel a tad washed out now and am going to have a lie down. Almost caught up with the thread but heed a break. Hugs all round and great to hear LL has had the op and is recovering. Soappie CHARGE more rent, simplebut count me in doe Op ODD if you go ahead with it

I'm ahead of you there - I've been debating with myself whether or not to nip out to Maplins and buy this: It's a good offer I think..

Shopping done.
Just scoffed a (reduced of course!) restorative egg custard tart. I now need to go and unpack.
I also need to defrost the freezer before I can put anything away in it! Wish me luck ladies...I am the leading lady in the movie of my life

soappie - I've already got an energy monitor, so I can plug my TD into it and tell you how much it costs... or are you planning to do it sneakily so they can't see and check the usage every day?!0

The idea was to use it on all appliances over time and see what they all work out at so I know which ones to stop using. Won't I have egg (custard) on my face if the TD works out to use less than, say, my computer!I am the leading lady in the movie of my life

busy HHC, as usual am amazed how quickly everything can be done if it's done regularly and kept tidy! only bits left now really are to finish the hoovering. There's a pile of washing up but DH says he'll do it later when finished studying and I'll do the study quickly then.

I'm tired...
DD was not feeling well in the night, so sat up with her for an hour from 3am to 4am. Switched off my alarm when it went off at 7, and went back to sleep, but still don't feel awake now! She's making a teeny tiny bit of an improvement. We're still waiting for the antibiotics to kick in. She was cheered up a bit by BF arriving with a bag of lovely presents. I offered to buy them one of the M&S meal deals, but have been turned down as DD can't eat it anyway - maybe I'll just give them a promise for a future occasion. BF had booked a restaurant as a surprise too, and has had to cancel (Note to self - why didn't I ever find a BF like that??? Don't think any of mine ever managed more than a bag of chips at the bus shelter!!)
Don't think I'll bother to go downtown to get the bodyshop lotion - after I pay for the parking, it's not such a good deal - and as a dedicated Bootser, I have enough body lotion for the next ten years anyway!;) I only thought of going into town because I'm tired but bored at home. I can't think of anything I want to do. If I had less self control, I'd be whining 'I'm boooored....I don't know what to do...' And if I were my mother (if you follow) I'd send me to my room until I think of something!
sexymouse - that was really thoughtful of you to drop off a card for LL.
gtx - hope I've remembered the right name. Good luck with that party. Pm me the venue, and I'll send my three teens along. You'll never notice they're there...:D
Flying - mmm... washing up, and three loads of clothes washed. I still have one load to do.It is never too late to become what you were always intended to be0 -

I've got some figures somewhere from measuring my stuff. And I'm sure you can work out quite a bit of it from the ratings on the items concerned... this might help http://www.sust-it.net/ and be brave and have a look on the gas & elec board!
I'm not making huge amounts of progress with the utility room... I keep rearranging things, but it's currently messier than when I started0
