  • Hi everyone, hope everyone is well, haven't read back through the thread yet.
Haven't popped in here all week....we've had no heating  so apart from the lounge that we've kept warm with the woodburner the rest of the house has been too cold... So I've done only the bare minimum all week so need a big catch up today! My list so far...

Hoover and dust upstairs & down
    Clean kitchen & hall floors
    Clean bathroom & downstairs loo
Clean down kitchen surfaces & cupboard fronts
    Make lemon cake
    Clean out woodburner
    Washing & Tumbling x 2
    Top up log basket
    Shops
Clean down inside of front door & lounge window frames
Clean mirrors & inside of windows
    Sort & do shredding
    Change bed linen
Wrap presents & make a card
    Sort out recycling

Still quite alot to do so best I get on with it in a mo before I get too comfy on the sofa!
Will do a HHC 2.30 to 3pm if anyone fancys joining me!

Oh! must've done something wrong, none of my crossings out worked! i have done some of this list, honest!

    Pfew...

    I am bushed!!
We had a mad rush of cleaning and sorting in this house today. I made all the kids help. (which they didn't like)
We cleaned the kitchen throuroughly. Every nook and cranny that I normally skip. The hooks on which the big pots and pans hang got taken down and cleaned. All the tiles, the door, the doorframe, the cabinet fronts.. the lot.

Kids bedrooms tidied, and the attic sorted.
We sorted out the toys downstairs. Chucked a full binbag full of crap. And filled a big box full of toys to go into the attic, while another big box full of toys that were stored in the attack got brought downstairs and cleaned.

With me going into childminding and getting a little two year old so I brought down lots of little girlie toys.
My own 4 yrs old is now playing with all the stuff she hasn't seen in years as if it's all new! She thinks it's Christmas!!

And just as I went to sit down with a cuppa, DH comes home from work and says: "How about we go out and take the dog to the (big) park?"
My reply?: "I don't think so.... I'm bushed!! and still have loads more to do!!! There's a month's worth of clothes to be washed, dried and folded!!"
So now he's in a huff and took the dog out on his own...

    pfff.. men...

    He'll come around.

I'm having me a cup of tea and a rest while I wait for the TD to finish.

If I have enough energy I might clean some windows but then again, I might wait until tomorrow with that. :D

Been to the Post office and bumped into DD which was a nice surprise.

Have got a good idea from one of the other threads. Its to stock up as much as I can before I retire and have less money. It can be anything you use such as toiletries, tinned goods anything non perishable that you use. Although I do this if I see special offers on.

Have vaccumed right through and washed the parts of the carpet in the living room that are walked through. Having a cuppa now and going to make a lasagne shortly.

Diva Hugs for you and Tristan.

    Triker Big hugs.

    Crafty That made me laugh.
