    Morning all!

Feeling decidedly sluggish this morning as it's half term and I am in need of the rest!

But I have made a list of the things I want to do this week as I am very good at letting a whole week slip by having done nothing!!

So today I am going into town to the bank and the post office, then coming home and cleaning out my kitchen cupboards!

Right now I am off for a shower!!

Catch up with you all later...
Go hopefully into each new day, enjoy something from every day no matter how small, you never know when it will be your last

    Morning all (just!) :hello:

Tried to catch up with the thread but failing. Had a lie-in today as a neighbour kicked off last night at 1am and things didn't quieten down until the police arrived at 2am (blue lights & van - I think someone called them when the usual shouting turned into a fight in the middle of the road with a metal bar  ) Police finally went at 2.30am but I'm so glad I don't live next door to her any more!

I'm feeling a bit rough today, although whether its the sore throat DD has or not I don't know. I have a niggling earache and a stinking cough & cold.

Right, I need to make a list of what I need to study as well as the flying list but I won't post it here as its so long... :o

Thanks Greenbee, not sure if we can change the whole heating system for the club, but worth a look - we currently have rads in the big main hall, upstairs hall, members lounge, office, snug, small hall and snooker room... just a little bit to warm up...;) if costs work out to replace all though, might be worth it, specially if it is aircon too - it gets so hot in the summer... :D

With the solar thermal and ground source heat pump, you wouldn't have to change the radiators etc. From memory (you'd have to check) you'd get 3kw heat/cooling for every 1kw electricity from an air source heat pump. Not quite sure for ground source. Solar thermal is generally used for hot water rather than heating, but if you're going for low-level rather than hot, some of the newer solutions might work. Anyway, worth looking into.

As much as possible :rotfl: :rotfl:

At the moment it's cleaning stuff, laundry stuff (most of this laundry/washing up stuff will be going on some shelves about the sink that my dad has made for me and will be putting up next weekend :D ), plus spare plastic boxes, ice packs, cold bags, the toaster, slow cooker etc. I also keep coats and walking stuff out there, so need to make sure that there is room for muddy boots without them getting in the way.

I know I need to put some hooks up for mops/brooms etc, and there is still some work for the builder to do, once I've worked out where everything is going.

I think I might go to homebase as its 10% off day and I think I have vouchers somewhere, and I might find some baskets that will help me organise the stuff in the cupboards. I'll go to the farm shop and get some veggies at the same time.

So now I need to go and get the last boxes out of the car before I set off!

    Cor, I'm frozen.

Went out to put the recycling in the bin and got chatting to someone in the street for about 10 minutes. I didn't realise it was that cold out there!

DD has popped round and has gone out with the dog over the park. I've got my washed bedding on the line and S&S'd the kitchen. Am just about to clear/clean the fridges and compile a shopping list.

    Afternoon all,

I've done the food shopping, eaten lunch, and the valentine's cake is in the oven now smelling gorgeous. It's a Jamaican ginger cake (with raisins in) and it takes an hour to cook on GM 2 and there's still ages to go! Don't know how I'm going to resist eating it when it comes out of the oven. I've washed up all of the cooking stuff and wiped down all of the sides.

Think I'm going to do the bathroom now so that I can clear another list and get another star. :)

Is anyone up for a HHC 12.45-1.15pm (gives you some notice hopefully)?

Good news about LL Mudbath - thanks for letting us know how she is, and send her our love.

Right off to bring all of the cleaning stuff and my timer up to do the bathroom in anticipation of the HHC.

    sexymouse xx
