Russell Hobbs breadmaker advice please

Hiya - just got the Breadman 10008 on Freecycle sans manual - do Pifco really send out manuals for free? Also, has anyone used one of these? Says it does bagels... Nom nom nom.

Ignore me! Russell Hobbs (0161 947 3000) are very helpful and emailed me my booklet straight away. I'd offer to forward it to you but they're so efficient it's probably best to get in touch with them.

I have a Russell Hobbs Breadman Ultimate which I have had for about two weeks now.
I started off with a standard white loaf and followed the recipe to the t, my loaves also seem to be very heavy and dense, I would prefer a lighter fluffier bread.
I have also set the crust to Dark but the bread bakes with a very light crust.
Does anyone have advice/tips ?

I wonder if there are any users of the Russel Hobbs Breadman Pro out there? 

I’ve been using this today and when it gets to the bake phase it stops and short circuits the house.
Anyone experienced this or have any advice please? Thank you
